Our experience truly exceeded expectations. From the very beginning, even the simplest details stood out, the bread with olive oil was excellent and set the tone for what was to come. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor, all the way through dessert, which was a perfect ending to the meal. The salad was absolutely spectacular, fresh, well balanced, and one of the highlights of the evening. The service was outstanding, attentive, warm, and professional without ever feeling intrusive. As a small suggestion, the meat had great flavor but was slightly on the tougher side; however, this did not take away from an otherwise wonderful dining experience. Overall, it’s a fantastic restaurant with high quality food and excellent service, and we would definitely return

For what it is, pricing is very reasonable. Food was amazing, very bold flavors and perfect for sharing.
Service was the most outstanding thing to me. Impeccable in every aspect and far above my expectations.

My husband and I booked a reservation during our trip to Miami. We had an uber snafu and ended up biking 6 miles to the restaurant, causing us to be almost 45 minutes late. When we showed up (sweaty and frazzled) the staff was so kind to us, and accommodated us at the bar. The food was incredible and service amazing. We loved every single dish, but especially the pizza with anchovies and the cabbage. They even surprised us with an extra dessert. 10/10!

I just had dinner there and it was so good that I needed to leave a review asap. Every single item was incredible, we got the lasagna, tartare, the pizza with anchovies and the cabbage, everything was incredible! Portions are a little small but it’s the perfect size to order multiple things and try everything. I can’t wait to go back

We arrived 8 minutes before our 5:30 PM reservation on a rainy Thursday, right as the restaurant was opening. Despite the fact that the restaurant was completely empty, the hostess was immediately unwelcoming. She asked us to step back outside into the rain to wait, even though my wife and I were there with our 8-month-old baby. I politely explained that we would prefer to wait inside given the circumstances.

Instead of showing any understanding or hospitality, she then asked us to move so she could sweep the floor, which came across as passive-aggressive and unnecessary, especially with no other guests present.

I never write reviews, but the lack of basic courtesy, common sense, and hospitality was so blatant that I felt compelled to share this experience. First impressions matter, and unfortunately, this one set the wrong tone before we even had a chance to sit down.

I hope management takes this feedback seriously, as this type of service can easily overshadow what might otherwise be a good dining experience. We left. Their loss on what could have been an easy $500-1000 client.

Unfortunately they don’t accommodate a single food request which makes it feel a bit pretentious. Such as the Rodeo Za you cannot add anything, even cheese. If you can’t have pork, they won’t substitute the pepperoni pizza with anything else for you.
Also it was very slow service. You have to wait outside in the strip mall for your table, they won’t let you wait at the bar.
It took almost 3 hours to finish our meal because each dish was slow to arrive.
The kale salad and bone marrow are delicious though!

Creative dishes perfectly done. Wonderful experience.
Hardest reservation in Miami. Couldn’t get a reservation 30 days later because it sold out within 30 minutes. found a table same day. Lucky Monday.

A true neighborhood gem. It can be challenging to get a table, but it’s well worth the wait. Excellent food, great wine (a bit expensive) and a cool atmosphere

Went here on Dec 28. We were quite excited to order the Pepperoni pizza but we were so disappointed. The Pepperoni is so underwhelming in taste. You can taste everything in the pizza except for the Pepperoni. If you can't get Pepperoni right then there is something seriously wrong in your kitchen. The chocolate cake was quite amazing however. It was very well put together with the syrup and etc. But you don't get additional points just for serving good dessert. You need to get your mains in order first. Also, if you're going to charge a dollar for tap water, be courteous and inform your customers at the very begininng. It's not about the money, it's about being transparent about the charges you are adding to the overall bill. Last but not least, Blue Fin tuna is a critically endangered fish and shouldn't be on the menu.

The food was fantastic and the service outstanding, even though we were seated about 30 minutes after our reservation time. Ana, one of the managers, made sure we were well taken care of throughout. We had the PSL and Roni pizzas, plus one of the starters, the warm, soft bread, which was my favorite (thanks Ana).
For dessert, we tried the chocolate cake with coconut and pecan. Even though I don’t usually love chocolate cake, this one had the perfect amount of chocolate, not overwhelming.

Great pizza and tapas dishes. The pizza was outstanding and the baked oysters. The service is excellent. The only reason I would not give a 5 star is our dinner was over in 30 minutes including paying the bill. We be back.

Food outstanding and so fun! Service was insane perfect. They never let your glass be half full. Only dish we weren’t a fan of was the cabbage. Tuna-epic, ricotta dip-epic, son loved the oysters, they taste just like a jalapeño popper. Very fun, steak delish, pork chop delish, waygu-drooling. Dessert was meh. Tiny like smaller than a cupcake size cake, had caramel center but lacking the chocolate frosting. I feel like they could have gone a little farther here and frosted it like a mini cake but alas. The rest was an amazing. Place was very loud so hard to hear each other. It was freezing cold inside so me and my kid would take turns with the one jacket I had in the car.

Walrus Rodeo is an awesome spot with a great vibe, but what truly made our experience exceptional was Jorge behind the bar. His bartending craft is outstanding—professional, creative, and clearly made with passion. Jorge made us some incredible drinks, especially the Purple Haze, which was perfectly balanced and absolutely delicious. You can tell he takes pride in what he does and genuinely cares about the guest experience. We’ll definitely be back, and we hope Jorge is working when we return!

I absolutely love this spot. On Dec 7th Sydney was fantastic! She recommended a few new dishes I hadn’t tried before and they were all spot on. The wine pairings were great and elevated the whole experience. Every visit, the menu surprises me in the best way, and the service is thoughtful and attentive. Never disappointed here — it’s always a fun, flavorful night out!
