Wendy's, you need to do something about your Cedar Rapids location on 42nd St. Beautiful remodel. Unfortunately, they also need to "remodel" their staff. My 6 year old son & I went in for a late lunch today. Roughly 2 PM. There was ONE couple in the restaurant & like 3 cars in the drive thru. We waited up front for no less than FIVE MINUTES. (It may have been longer). There were 3 women I could see, working inside. I don't usually give reviews unless the service is exceptional or very poor. Unfortunately, I'm giving a review for the latter reason. NOBODY acknowledged us & said, "We'll be with you in just a moment." or anything. I wasnt even sure they knew we were there. I work a customer (or client/patient service, actually) job & I absolutely will roll my eyes about people whining about not being waited on hand & foot & not having their @$$ kissed; that's not what I expect. But I do expect people actually be attended to. Hell, Idgaf if you ask how I am, etc. Ik nobody cares. But we waited AT LEAST 5 mins. Finally, a mulatto young gal came to help us. SHE was very kind. Unfortunately, she couldn't get into the cash register or something. She asked a coworker (white woman, black hair) how she could log into the register). THIS WOMAN didn't even respond to her & rolled her eyes. The poor gal said, "I LOVE this job, I'm about to just walk out.". UNDERSTANDABLE. I would, too. Now, IDGAF HOW you feel about your coworkers. If clients/customers/patients are waiting, you HELP them get their job done. RIDICULOUS!!!!! I WAS PISSED. 30ish seconds later, the young mulatto gal at the counter said, "You know what, I'll just get your order going & once one of them can get this entered, you can pay.". Waited another 3 minutes & an older lady with tattoos came & entered the order, so I could pay. Food was hot & decent, but seriously RIDICULOUS customer service. White girl with the black hair needs to be FIRED. Planning on calling corporate, too. No point having a pretty restaurant if your staff is $h!+!!!! Fix it, Wendy's!!!!

I LOVE THIS WENDY. I COULD EAT HERE FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE. the service is fabulous! Isabela which i think is the manager has the kindest heart and the most amazing, beautiful, heartfelt, helpful, selfless, caring, sweetest person I have ever met. her acts of kindness are truly inspirational and we should all look up to her and her actions.

Title: Rude Staff Ruined My Wendy's ExperienceWent to Wendy's and had a terrible time thanks to one rude staff member. They were consistently disrespectful every time I interacted with them. It's not just a one-off thing; they seem to be rude to everyone. Wendy's needs to sort out their attitude problem or they'll lose more customers like me.

Some of employees at this Wendy’s really don’t care for customer service. I ordered 2 plain dbl cheese burger combos and a classic chicken combo and a six piece of nuggets in the drive through. When I get to the window and receive my order I’m missing one dbl cheeseburger combo. I let the guy know and he tells me it’s in the bag I tell him that it isn’t and he insisted that it was I attempted to show him the bag and he refused. Finally, I get the dbl cheeseburger but I’m missing the condiments that I requested again he says it’s in the bag, by this time I’m getting a little frustrated because I’m hangry it’s 5pm I wanna get home and eat. Finally he gives one mayo, 5 ketchup, and one ranch sauce. One mayo for 3 combos! I tried asking for more but he just walked away. I said just forget about and go home. When I get home I open the burgers and it seemed as though they had been sitting out under the light for a while because they were drier than the Goby Dessert. They ask for a $15.00 an hour wage but give you a $2.00 service.
