The food here is PHENOMENAL and at a great price. The cashier is always kinda and welcoming. as someone with Jamaican roots it’s hard to find gems like these that truly match up to the island itself

Excellent flavor on the curried goat and j*** chicken. The j*** actually had some spice, unlike many of the places in the US that I have tried. So far, this is my favorite j*** chicken in the US. The curried goat was great also, and that cabbage? That cabbage is now one of my favorite sides.Overall, great food. I would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for good Jamaican food in the area.

Definitely recommend the Food Zone. We usually drive up north for Jamaican, but not anymore! This place was so delicious. I got the brown stew chicken and my partner the j**** Both dishes were delicious! So we'll spiced and seasoned, and cooked to the right texture. Other than that, the rice and peas was so yummy. It was flavorful and had such a nice consistency. To be honest, I could eat the rice and peas alone. Then, my favorite (I know this is weird) but my favorite part is the cabbage and carrot side. For some reason Jamaican veggies are just next level, and food zone definitely crushed it! Also, I think it's pretty cool that with all the "development" aka gentrification happening in the grove, that this little West Grove hole in the wall has continued to thrive for over twenty years. Also, it's family owned, so when you make a purchase, you know you're paying the person who woke up early and put in the work to cook the meal. Honestly, I have a lot of respect for this little place and the food that they serve. Will be back soon.

Delicious food breakfast and lunch...i went for just a small portion of rice and peas with gravy ... You choose which gravy, but it is indeed all good!!!! Inexpensive and tasty, like home!
Many people will knock this restaurant simply because where it's located, but they would be missing out on some good, fusion American/Jamaican authentic homemade food at a fraction of the cost anywhere else. You can call your order in ahead of time or walk up to the window and do so. Take a peep inside and you'll see that it's very clean and organized. I love going here. THE REAL GROVE where everyday people eat and the locals that hang around are friendly and welcoming.

The Best Jamaican Food Spot in Miami Period. I found this Hidden Gem and Haven’t Been able to stop going. I recommend the j*** chicken with cabbage, rice & peas and some bbq j*** sauce if you like it Spicy ?!
