I mean the ice cream was good but it was filthy. The floor had an inch of black gunk. The machines were dirty and dripping everywhere. I couldn’t stop thinking about it and paying $18 for two small ice creams ? I will not be back.

Been coming to Whip n Dip for 30 years. This will b my last. Refused to pay $18.00 for two small cups of icecream. Ice cream is Icecream. Good luck !!!PS my sister was shocked when I told her how much we were charged. She will not be going there for two reasons. Price and she's Lactose Intolerant.

This type of ice-cream place called Whip n Dip should always make sure to be able to help improve its own self in the ways that it usually ever works in general not only in the sense of always making sure that it has a website that is always kept as updated as possible and all always translated into all foreign languages in general, but let alone, most especially even, that it always finds ways to improve its own types of customer service departments in general to the very core as well as always making sure that this type of industry itself all alone in particular never, ever limits its own self to all of the types of sweets and/or just any types of desserts that it could actually always ever be able to sell to all types of customers in general regardless of whatever it is that they all ever having any sorts of cravings for in general regardless of whether of if they are sweets of any sorts in general, drinks of any sorts in general and/or just whatever sorts of products that this one type of industry itself all alone in particular actually ever sells at any points in the future itself in general aside from just selling all of the types of products that it actually sells already and so on and so forth. Lastly, all of the forms of media and visual demonstrations that are all ever shown talking about all of Whip N Dip’s own types of products in general regardless of the types of products that they all ever are in general should all always be made sure to be shown posted all on up in the type of website for this one type of industry all alone in particular and all always able to be translated into all foreign languages in general and everything.

After going to the lights event at Fairchild Tropical Gardens we craved something sweet and came to Whip n Dip for some ice cream. I haven't been here in years and happy to see they are still around and thriving! Staff is super kind and you're guaranteed a big ice cream portion. There was a line outside the ice cream shop but was well worth it. We ordered the mango ice cream on a sugar cone and wow! I was obsessed. The flavor was amazing and it was so fresh. My partner got the vanilla soft serve with sprinkles and that was quite disappointing. We also got some of then cookie crisps which were okay, but not very fresh. Prices are also pretty steep. Each ice cream was $8 for a scoop or a small soft serve but again. I hope the mango stays on the menu for a while because it was so so good! Definitely a great spot with lots of ice cream, cookie, and ice cream cake options. Seating is outside on benches if you want to eat it there!

Great local ice cream place. Just wish they had smaller portions!

I grew up in South Miami. I've had many friends work here and I used to go here all the time. Back in 2017, a single scoop of ice cream was $3.85 including tax. Today, I just paid $8.23 including tax for a single scoop. I will never come back here if I'm paying for it. Whip n' Dip used to be full of life, and now it just feels sad. There's a note that they placed next to the cash register in 2020 that blames the price increases on inflation, but the reality is that it's pretty much a load of BS. It's clear to me that what used to be a place dedicated to the South Miami community has become a soulless cash-grab. I understand that costs have gone up, but the owners of Whip n' Dip have gone too far with this. You've lost my business Whip n' Dip, forever!

Went here only because they were a UM Homecoming sponsor. Over-priced. Bizarre combinations of hard ice cream. Small portions for the high prices. And the ice cream was nothing to rave about. Wasted calories, wasted time, and wasted money.
