Excellent food. This is a fantastic place with great atmosphere. The pisco sours are refreshing. We shared the spring rolls, the mahi mahi aji Amarilloceviche and the arrozo chaufa. The food was incredible. Jamie was a great server too. I highly recommend this place.
I would have given 5 stars if it was easier to eat here. When I arrived it was crowded and it took a while for for somebody to let me know that food is ordered at the bar which was packed. Having people fight through those who are not ordering to get dinner doesn't sit well with me. That being said, the food is delicious, the beer I ordered (their dopple bock) was amazing and the staff is great. I'll try and arrive earlier next time.
This visit occurred during what turned out to be my last trip before COVID struck (though, of course, we are learning now that it may have already been present). This was an unexpected pleasure, It does not look like much from outside. But the wait staff was friendly and the comfort food was delicious. It was a small and intimate space. I hope it has survived the pandemic.
