Food was nice. I really liked it.. good flavors, very artistic ambience. Portions are good and big. Food didn’t delay. Lovely place.

Yambo is quintessential and a classic to the Miami food scene. This fritanga always delivers. The portions are massive and the prices are economical given the amount of food served. My advice is to come in and look at the dishes before you order. My friends ordered the carne asada and didn't have any complaints. I ordered their special of the day which was a pollo guisado (chicken in a sauce with potatoes and carrots) it was delicious and the whole plate only cost $6 and it came with 2 sides and a coleslaw salad. I was floored by the price and quality for the price. It doesn't surprise me that Yambo continues to be a Miami staple for fritanga.

Really good Nicaraguan food and they’re open 24/7 which is amazing if you want to eat something good after a night out. They also have a variety of desserts and beers.

I have never seen this amount of oil in rice in my life. And as always, the service is disgusting from the majesties who work there, always a miserable face who only eats salt. And they never understand what you are ordering, they always want to serve you more than what you order and when you go to pay they charge you so much that even at McDonald's they can buy you four times as much. For a side of rice, a piece of roast beef and a side of salpicón $23 ? it's salpicón, the roast beef is so dry, pure of fat, there's no meat there and the rice is in a puddle of oil.

Yambo is the spot for authentic Nicaraguan food! The carne asada was tender and packed with flavor, and the vibe feels like a true taste of Nicaragua. It's my go-to for comfort food in Miami!

I don't bother coming any other days except Monday through Thursday; excellent customer service from the only bilingual cashier.

If it wasn’t for my friends coming here, I wouldn’t. They had a filet of fish the other day and we ordered it, loved it so we came again. We ordered the fish again and asked her about it and they said yes we have a fish, but it takes time. we asked if it was a filet, and they said yes. When i went to go pay, they charged me $30 for a dish that i paid $14 for last time. I paid $42 for both of my foods and i thought maybe it was a different catch and that’s why it was so expensive. So i asked why it was so expensive when the last time, i paid $14? and they said no, because it’s the whole fish. said i didn’t want the whole fish and they said okay no problem, but you already paid for so we keep the money. I found it super unfair that the only expensive dish in the fritanga spot was $28. Like come on, you should say something. I work for a restaurant and as a server, you have to mention when things are market price. the fact that they just said yeah it’s a filet. I asked to cancel because I’m afraid of eating a bone from my food and they couldn’t have the courtesy to explain a dish to a customer. Worst experience i’ve ever had in a fritanga place, man.
