Yambo is quintessential and a classic to the Miami food scene. This fritanga always delivers. The portions are massive and the prices are economical given the amount of food served. My advice is to come in and look at the dishes before you order. My friends ordered the carne asada and didn't have any complaints. Yambo is the spot for authentic Nicaraguan food! The carne asada was tender and packed with flavor, and the vibe feels like a true taste of Nicaragua. It's my go-to for comfort food in Miami!
lovely food!! flavoured meat rice was lovely, as well as good variation. not much for vegetarian (beans and cheesey sauce and rice) but was very much delicious. plantain was excellent. really cool decorations and a good vibe. staff was helpful and kind, accommodating to our english- speaking.
