I give this hotel 2 stars only because the front desk and bar staff are relatively friendly and helpful. As far as the Yotel Pad 2 bedroom goes...disappointed is an understatement. The room clearly had not been cleaned recently, it was full of IKEA-esque furnishings, the carpets and floors were filthy with visible debris of all sorts, the white walls are stained and scratched almost everywhere you look, there is no microwave (as advertised), the oven smells like something crawled in and died, there are strange odors everywhere, and the hallway carpet on the 25th floor looks like it has never been shampooed...and it desperately needs to be.Additionally, there are no live people answering the guest services line, only an automated IVR that hangs up when you request a representative. The elevators are also a little more complicated than necessary. Long story shorter, if you have a hotel budget of $800 for 2 nights, your money will be better spent anywhere else. I booked the Yotel pad for 2 nights but checked out after the first night because it was not worth the cost or headache…they had the audacity to charge me $412 for the night yet did not send anyone to clean the room upon my request and offered no accommodations for the the disgust and inconveniences I dealt with.I checked out after one night and ended up going to the Hilton Garden Inn Dolphin Mall for the remainder of my stay. The accommodations here are exceptional, the rooms and amenities are stellar, and it is half the price of the Yotal Pad. If you are simply looking for shelter, the Yotel may work for you. However, if you are looking for cleanliness, quality, and standards…avoid this place like the plague!

Do not book this hotel. We booked months in advance and they cancelled on the day, leaving us with nowhere to stay having travelled from another county with a baby. We tried calling but it’s an automated line and when you get through all the options to talk to an actual person the line cuts out. Totally unreliable.

I really enjoyed the one week stay here. I booked the Yotelpad and it was definitely worth every penny.LOCATION: Excellent! Short walk to Bayside. Several eateries and easy to locate by uber drivers. Not far from supermarkets. Very safe neighborhood.BREAKFAST: Food great each morning. I never tried their lunch/dinner though. Breakfast usually from 7am till 11am. Breakfast staff friendly, very professional, and highly efficient.AMENITIES: Really really good gym with clean towels provided. Quality gym equipment. Decent-sized swimming pool (deepest = 5ft) with a side hot water spa. Elevators always clean and very well coordinated with the card system. Vela sky worth a visit.STAFF: All friendly. Highly professional. Every single one of them. Well organized place: Kudos to the manager.ROOM: I was in room 2304 (yotelpad). Very spacious, beautiful views, balcony, nice kitchen, clean washroom etc etc.RECOMMEND? Of course! Highly recommend and will definitely stay again each time I visit Miami.

Great room but the use of phones instead of keys is a stupid and unefficient. They also decided to attempt to charge us 2 times for no reason and we had to spend half an hour to resolve it.

The room is tiny but perfect location for it being downtown. The rooms were cleaned properly and I love the rooftop pool and restaurant

I have never had such a terrible experience with a hotel as this hotel. Ripping off is no longer possible. Check-IN was quick and everyone was asked for their credit card first. I was given cards for the room door without a single information about how to use the cards for the elevator or how, where and when breakfast takes place. The day after and at breakfast, the waiter explained to me that everyone has a budget and if you exceed it you have to pay the dieffrenz yourself. The final straw was when I checked out, I was issued an invoice that included breakfast costs for my two children and also had to be paid. I asked the employee why I had to pay for breakfast for the children even though I had booked the accommodation with breakfast and had also paid for it. He said that apparently Expedia just didn't inform them about breakfast for us (my wife and I) and the children and that I should clarify this with Expedia. But I refused and showed him the booking confirmation again, which included breakfast for all of us. Back and forth and after about 1 hour. or longer has the bill corrected. However, he couldn't print out the new invoice because he ran out of paper and the supervisor is in the meeting. I made my way towards the airport and when I just arrived at the airport, I received three correction invoices by email about five minutes apart and the costs for breakfast were added again and they were also sent to me These amounts are deducted from my credit cards. Luckily I made this booking through Expedia and when I got home I called the Expedia hotline and luckily they took care of it and refunded me these costs. The waiters were completely unmotivated and could barely say good morning. Too bad for the hotel. The only good thing about this hotel is the central location and the cleanliness (kudos to the cleaning ladies).

Checked in but not a single person helped me carry my luggage, while I had a small baby and a lot of luggage.Staff attitude is very impolite, disrespectful, contemptuous and unpleasant.Highly recommend everyone NOT to come and experience the service HERE.I came to Yotelpad and check-in with my baby, The receptionist didn't ask to help me bring my luggages and they looked at me like “I don't like you, get the ****out of there”So upset for this!I never come back again!!!

When we arrived we had difficulty understanding how the elevator worked. It was up to us to activate the card. Except nothing is explained! And the man at reception didn't move a finger to help us!Room: magnificent view, pleasant roomPool: cute, niceBreakfast: it's not an all-you-can-eat buffet and we eat the same thing every day! There are 5 or 6 choices. As someone who eats sweets basically, there was only 1 choice. And then extra things are charged, it’s excessive! The hotel is in a great location!
