My husband and I stopped here for lunch after visiting Paynes Prairie Preserve (also amazing). The restaurant isn't large but they do have an outdoor patio also. We split a salad with lemon vineagrette to start. The dressing was light and not too sweet, ingredients fresh. I had the hand tossed pizza with tempeh, vegan cheese and mushrooms. The crust was light and crispy and tempeh nicely seasoned. The sauce tasted fresh also. Some of the best pizza i have had, even in my pre-vegan days. Price was a little high when you add toppings and vegan cheese but the portion and taste makes up for it. I will definitely return!

The Micanopy location is one of my families favorite places to eat and has been for many years. The other location is probably wonderful too but we go to the Micanopy location =) Good people, great food, never disappointed

Salt and more salt could not taste the pizza. Pepperoni with chesse times 2 at 12" each. 40 bucks and all you can taste is salt. What a shame. Wouldnt even bother wrighting a bad review if it wasnt for the over abundance of salt. A completly ruined pizza. Can not recommend.

What a lovely place. The staff could not be more warm or inviting. Truly a wonderful group of folks. I have a dairy allergy and when Tianna, our server, informed me thar they have a vegan cheese I honestly was happily surprised. My pizza with fake cheese was delicious. The crust is incredible, the sauce and toppings are fresh light and when they put them all together, they produce a masterpiece. If you are passing through Micanopy and your stomach starts to growl, stop at Blue Highway Pizza to quiet your stomach. You will not be disappointed. Tell Tianna that I said, "Hi!"

I don't know what happened to their pizza's. We use to love going here for pizza's. Went there last year & the Magherita pizza had no flavor so we stopped going. Thought we would try again. Stopped in last Sunday..same thing. No flavor at all. You couldn't taste anything except the fresh basil. Worst pizza's ever now. Not going back anymore.
All was good, the food and service. A reconnection to the owner would be investing in some manet of sound control to reduce noise. It's a testament to the food how busy it was when I was there... PACKED! That said, the acoustics were such that my party and I—all of us casual loud talkers with food-industry experience—struggled to chat without resorting to shouting ourselves.
Again... Great spot. I go whenever I'm in the area, noisy or not.
I really enjoyed the ambiance and the service. Pizza was just fine and we are going back tonight (maybe after the rain) Closest good Pizza to my house.
