We were traveling with a dog and needed a place to stop. We saw the outside seating and turned around. With all the cars in the parking lot, we thought it was either happy hour or the food was good! The meatball pizza was excellent.

Absolute disaster of a trip to the Micanopy version of Blue Highway. It wasn’t busy when we ordered and 35 minutes after ordering I was told that our Sicilian pizza wasn’t quite ready yet because the thicker crust takes longer. Five minutes later the pizza comes out and the server said, “it’s a bit crispy, is that ok?” The pizza was cremated. No apology, no “would you like a soda while you wait for a replacement?”. Server never refilled our drinks either. The Tioga location seems to be more modern and with better service. If I’m paying $30 for a pizza it won’t be here

The historic vibe is great here , however the pizza at the other location in west Gainesville is done better somehow . On the last visit to this location the toppings would not stick to the pizza which means there was an issue that could have been prevented . The sizes of the slices were not even or even close to the same size also . Still 4 stars as it’s good pizza and healthy / vegan options

The cauliflower pizza was delicious. I ate it all myself but for one piece. My friend had regular pizza and said it was good. Our server, Anna, was very nice. The homemade chocolate pudding was AMAZING!
Outdoor seating with picnic tables and shade and a big fan. We sat outside and it was nice.
It's a good thing we had a lot to talk about and it was a nice night because it took a reeeeeeaaaaally long time to get our food.
I'd go back and hope it doesn't take as long.

Lindsey did an amazing job as our waitress with answering questions and accommodating my wife who has dietary restrictions. They even brought a treat and water bowl for our furry boy and brought out the ingredients list so that my wife could review it. The food was really good and we would highly recommend this pizzaria thanks to Lindsey's amazing customer service.
Cozy neighborhood pizzeria with excellent food and friendly staff. My friends and I visit weekly, and always look forward to being there. Blue Highway is the only place I know that offers peppadew peppers, and they add an excellent flavor without much heat. I love their thick crust Sicilian style and their hand-tossed thin crust, especially in Micanopy where it's made using their well water.

9/3/25 Today was my first visit to this restaurant, and I was genuinely impressed. I ordered a sandwich with a salad from their lunch special, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
The restaurant itself was clean and had a warm, cozy atmosphere that made the experience even more enjoyable. My server, Sophie G, was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the service overall was quick and efficient.
I’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal in a pleasant setting.
