Unbelievable brisket, chicken thighs and pulled pork. Sauces were delicious and the arnold palmer was great. Could not recommend enough.
UPDATE: ordered the banana pudding and it was simply outrageous. I was blown away by how good it was.

I usually don’t leave negative reviews, especially for a small business, but I just couldn’t believe how greasy the food was! I ordered the brisket and mac and cheese bowl at gallery night on July 18, and when I was carrying the takeout box against my hip I unknowingly created a MASSIVE grease stain on my clothes (I’m talking at least 4 square inches)! After 2 or 3 attempts to wash my clothes I’m still struggling to get the stains out, even with dish soap and hot water.
Moral of the story I really hope they were just having a bad night because that much grease was borderline inedible and possibly ruined my clothes.

TEXAN APPROVED!!! We take our beef seriously and so does 850. Brisket done this well is over an hour wait in line in Texas. Each side compliments the meat well and EVERYTHING is seasoned like it should be. Order more than you think you'll want. Your initial food coma will be followed by cravings.

No joke this is the best brisket I have ever had outside of Texas. Mac and cheese is great, love the Smokey taste. The coke slaw was fantastic too.
Maybe not the brightest batch of folk. Just watched the driver fill his kitchen generator at the gas station while it was installed and running. Maybe give this place a second consideration based upon safety before you hire them to be around people you care about.

If you haven’t tried 850 barbecue, you’re missing out on the flavor of a lifetime! The portions are huge, the food is packed with flavor and the staff is incredibly friendly. After trying them for the first time, I drove an hour the next morning to try out breakfast items! The menu is vast and ever changing, and as a picky eater I can truly say there is something for everyone, even vegans! You can tell the pit master is very passionate about his work and puts his heart and soul into his barbecue! Where else are you able to enjoy savory, smoked meats, delicious fresh veggies AND a sweet treat all at once? Check them out to have some of the only real down south brisket in the area and the best kale salad I’ve had in my life!
