I would say 5 stars because the service was nice, she did not rush us in ordering (first time visiting) and have been traveling and just needed a sit down, relaxed, and laid back place to sit in and eat. This place I am glad we did stop by and eat. We were unsure but when we came in we were immediately greeted, went to the potty, and sat down got some fried pickles, and ordered our first meal of the day! Country Fried Steak, better than pofolks! Broccoli was very tender and delicious....
We ate terrific pork chops, baked catfish and country fried steak! A great local restaurant with friendly, accommodating staff. Yummy sides. Didn't have enough room to try the deserts... this time! Better than fast food!
Just the most fantastic little county restaurant to eat at. The fried catfish is excellent, and the staff is really friendly. They make it easy to order to go meals, where you don't need an app and an online account, but can just pick up the phone and call in (unlike Texas Roadhouse), and the food is prepared super fast, even when they are busy. We usually eat here twice a month or so. Home style cuisine and family style wait staff.
