Milton Quality Bakery has that classic hometown feel. Warm, welcoming, and full of nostalgia. The baked goods are always good and taste like home. But lately, the prices have gotten a bit out of hand. $6 for a dozen donut holes feels a little wild for something so simple. I love supporting local, but I just hope they find a better balance so more folks can keep enjoying their treats without the sticker shock.

Customer service is bad. Definitely could use some training in that area.

ive loved the milton bakery all my life, and i hadn’t had it in a while so my boyfriend and i decided to go the other morning. turns out, they’re not like they used to be. we didn’t get greeted as we walked in the door. or at all. we were the only people there at the time. they just kinda looked at us. once we were ready to buy donuts, there was still no words shared other than us telling them what donuts we wanted. as we were picking out donuts, another customer walked in and was greeted by two employees. they were so nice to him, i wonder why not us. whatever. donuts are good.

I ordered a Cake 2 days in advance for a work luncheon. I was bragging for the 2 days that I was bringing cake from the Milton Bakery and that it was going to be amazing. Sadly the cake was dry, stale and dissappointing. It was beautifully decorated. The ladies were nice the day I picked it up. My co-workers ALL 20 of them asked me to not bring anything from the bakery again. Not one co-worker took more than that first bite. We ended up taking it straight out to the dumpster. I have ordered cakes from here before and they were delicious, but I will not be taking the risk again. I was so embarassed to admit that I had brought the dessert.

Is a great bakery but the truth is they have doubled and more on pricing and no longer take ebt.its sad to see a milton treasure taken hostage with corporate greed.

Multiple calls and emails to discuss what an order should look like. When we arrived the order didn’t look like the pics we sent or have the right colors and when we pointed it out, we got a shrug and was asked “cash or card”. Wish I was exaggerating. Absolutely no customer service to try to fix the issue or even the bare minimum, to offer to look into the issue.
When we walked in, there were about 10 employees, one was helping a customer and the others were just chatting with each other and they just ignored us. They chatted for a solid 5 minutes before bothering to ask us if we needed something. Definitely not coming here again!
Update: called the bakery about this experience. Spoke to a manager who was very rude and said that she was there that day and heard the employee ask “is there anyway we can make this right”. This was absolutely never said. She said we should’ve known this is how their cakes turn out and that it’s not their fault it was our first time ordering and I guess not knowing how they do things. It really says a lot about a place if the manager was there letting customers wait and not caring that they got an order wrong. Terrible customer service and products and I will be warning people about this place!

Be careful with those angel cream powder donuts! They are addictive. Also, you have to get 4 dozen donut holes if you decide on them. You'll find out why later if you don't! I love this place. Best donuts around. They also have a great selection. I particularly like the angel creme powder donuts and Boston creme.
