Are you kidding me ? Nothing is covered. The veggies are all exposed to flies and whatever else. A fly say on my sandwich for a while when it finally flew away he put a paper over it. I said im sorry sir could I please get another one ... he said its hard to get rid of them. We'll if you close the food they wont be attracted... please do not go to this location for health reasons.

The food attendant due to her figure was rubbing bring her dirty shirt all over the sandwiches she was making (stains and food all over it). Felt really unsanitary. Please enforce clean uniforms to the employees and sanitary procedures for making sandwiches.

Rude rolled his eyes when I said we have 6 subs. Continued to roll eyes and loudly exhaled every time we ask for something on the sandwich. Sandwiches were terribly constructed. Last experience at this location was horrible too! WON'T BE GOING BACK.
I loved working here and I want to come back it is a great

It’s very expensive now
When I walked into the subway I was greeted by Jess and Christy. When I asked do you have Herb and cheese bread Jess replied yes honey I will always have whatever you want! That is exactly what I want to hear. I am ecstatic this store is under new management. There were many times before when I would come in to get lunch and they would be out of my favorite bread/toppings too. (Bell pepper/onion etc) everything is available & looks amazing! Telling everyone to give NAS Whiting F another chance!!
I went in unsure of what I would be getting today and this kind gentleman named Yura was super upbeat and cheerful. When I walked in he immediately asked how I was doing. We had a short conversation in which I learned he works with his sister who is very kind as well. After I ordered and paid they were making my sandwich (A pizza melt with cheese) YUM! and I had asked for extra ranch and I wouldn't of got it if the Kind young gentleman who had helped me at the till hadn't told his co-worker to put more on as the co worker was being conservative. If not for Yura, I would not have enjoyed my sandwich and I would not have left feeling happy that I went there for lunch. GIVE THIS GUY A RAISE OR PROMOTE HIM AS HE DESERVES IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They were out of alot of ingredients and do not carry anything but two bread options (wheat and white). Employees were great, but seems management is severely lacking.
After repeated visits to this site and finding the staff unapologetic about not having bread other than white or wheat, brown lettuce, and several other ingredient shortages, I'm dropping a one-star review. This place seems to know there's a captive (on base) customer pool here and doesn't have to compete. Hopefully the management takes notice and does something to correct the deficiencies here.
The owner of this location is NOT doing his/her job. No tomatoes, no spinach, only white and wheat bread, and only putting 3 pieces of meat on a 6 in. It's a shame when someone is ripping off our military to line their own pocket.

It's a Subway...except for always less options and higher prices than the Subways in town.

Subway allows you to choose your own ingredients, but the subs somehow still always taste the same. It will do in a pinch, but never a first choice. The ladies making the subs are impressive and get my respect for the speed that they work.
Good breakfast sandwiches
