They really have something here if they would just step it up a bit. Cook doesn't pay attention to the orders that are put in. Doesn't cook food to order properly. Manager needs to step in and fix this small problem before it gets out of hand. Overall I would go back, atmosphere is pretty cool.

Overall I really like the place. The food is great, and large portions. I had to trim my fried snapper to fit the bun. Expect to pay a little more, but they don't skimp on the portion size.

Staying at Avalon Landing RV Park & decided shrimp sounded good for dinner, so this place was close & open, so we decided to stop. Bad decision......his fried shrimp platter was ok, but they should've paid me to eat their bland, old tasting, rubbery shrimp & grits! For someone with 'Southern' in their name-they don't know the first thing about making grits-they were horrible! $18.99 for a plate with the awfullest glop of grits, with absolutely no taste whatsoever, topped with rubbery, over-cooked shrimp (they had a little seasoning on them), a little bit of bacon & a little cheese-no other seasoning, no salt, pepper, nothing. Server was nice, restaurant seemed clean, but we won't be back. Tip: LEARN TO MAKE GRITS PROPERLY IF YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE THEM ON YOUR MENU.......

My husband and I stopped in here to grab a bite to eat before heading home to Louisiana from our vacation in Destin. We were both HANGRY! I believe our waitresses name was allison and she was absolutely amazing. She was helpful, patient, fast, all the things! The food was AMAZING!! 10/10 recommend!

My mother and I were looking for a nice dining experience that had a quiet atmosphere to catch up with each other. This was both of our first times here. We were greeted promptly by a server passing by and the host. The host thanked us for coming and sat us quickly. Our server was attentive the entire time and answered our many questions in a knowledgeable manner. The food looked and tasted great. It was hot and fresh. Steak, prime rib sandwich, Ceasar salad, collards, mixed veggies, loaded baked potato, and our appetizer all were really good. We will be back for future visits. Overall, I was impressed. Job well done to the owners and their team. Thank you for tonight.

To be totally honest and upfront here: This review is from The Hangar before sold and renamed "Aces Hangar Southern Grill and Bar".
This has been our go-to restaurant for the last few years. Some of the best food, and the woman who owned and operated it was a joy to spend time with.
However, I doubt I'll be back. Menu items we've enjoyed over the last few years have gone up, some in the vicinity of 20% or more!
The Afterburner burger has been a family favorite for some time...but I'm not dropping $17 bucks for a hamburger here or anyplace else, for that matter.
If this Ace's is related to the Ace's in Milton, I understand - their prices are crazy too. If not, I apologize for the misunderstanding, but this whole thing of any restaurant trying to cover all costs in one customer sitting is just out of hand.
