Achee and salt fish never disappoints. I had the escovich fish for Good Friday a few weeks ago but sorry to say it was not good. Had no flavor very bland and not seasoned properly.

From the moment I walked in, I felt completely unwelcome. No greeting, no acknowledgment—just blank stares and cold energy. When I finally spoke to someone, the attitude I received was beyond rude. It was as if I was bothering them by simply being there.
Customer service is the foundation of any business, and Barbican failed miserably. Not only was there zero effort to be friendly or helpful, but the tone and way I was spoken to was flat-out disrespectful. I’ve never felt so disregarded as a paying customer.
I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone expecting basic courtesy or professionalism. Major disappointment.

I had the large chicken curry plate. Comes with beans and rice, cabbage and plantains. DELICIOUS! I pass by in the morning sometimes, it smells so good. I finally got to try the chicken curry and it is so good.. highly recommend .
