This place hands-down is such a true authentic Caribbean spot!! Such amazing vibes and great Customer Service. I have always ordered from this place because the food was so awesome!! But something happen that took my experience beyond!!
My car tire blew outside of the restaurant and the owner and two employees came out to assist me!!! I was tired and frustrated and did not expect for them to stop what they were doing to come and make sure I was OK. This is more than a restaurant. This is a true epitome of community!!! They thought that I was in need and came out to help me. And the crazy thing about it that day I didn't even order food. They just saw a person in need and tried their best to help me.
Because they were so kind, I will always make sure when my company have our holiday parties or events that they will be firsthand to cater for us!!! I'm going to make sure that their kindness goes a long way and I do my part to pay it forward it back to them. Plus, the food is so delicious. It's a win-win. 💯☺️

Achee and salt fish never disappoints. I had the escovich fish for Good Friday a few weeks ago but sorry to say it was not good. Had no flavor very bland and not seasoned properly.

From the moment I walked in, I felt completely unwelcome. No greeting, no acknowledgment—just blank stares and cold energy. When I finally spoke to someone, the attitude I received was beyond rude. It was as if I was bothering them by simply being there.
Customer service is the foundation of any business, and Barbican failed miserably. Not only was there zero effort to be friendly or helpful, but the tone and way I was spoken to was flat-out disrespectful. I’ve never felt so disregarded as a paying customer.
I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone expecting basic courtesy or professionalism. Major disappointment.
