I have been going to Benihana Miramar for 20 years or since they opened. The past three times I have visited for dinner the fried rice has been overly salted and peppered and the chefs are now adding way too much soy sauce. My son couldn't eat his food. Also the server brought him a fried rice from the back and it had absolutely no flavor. It seems the food is just not as good as it use to be! Very disappointed in Benihana
The food just wasn't up to the usual Benihana quality. It feels like they aren't using the same ingredients or standards for the lunch specials as they do at dinner. The shrimp had an off taste and the rice lacked the flavor it normally has. If the specials don't offer the same experience as the regular-priced menu, what's the point of offering them at all?
Waitress was really attentive The chef spoke mostly in Spanish to the sos ish speaking guests at the table The food was sub par as far as flavor goes Not what we are accustomed to by this establishment
Our server, was great. She was very attentive and always asking if there's anything she can do. Our chef Q was a different story. She didn't smile, did only 2 tricks, didn't engage with the guest. A person from another party tried to have a conversation and she's was stoic. My food lack flavor which I www surprised. She cut the chicken and steaks for entrees like minced meat. Our table was talking with each other and we made an evening. She never once said good evening as she left. Very disappointing
We were celebrating a birthday and our reservation was for 8pm. Our party arrived on time and was immediately told we would have to wait 25-30 minutes. After waiting 40 minutes, we inquired about our seating and was told it would be another 20 minutes. Finally, we were seated at 9:25pm. It took another 25 minutes before our drink and appetizer order was taken. We waited until 10:15 pm for the table chef, who never arrived. At this point, I asked for some in management to come to our table. The management team ignored us as no one came out to address our concerns. After waiting another 15 minutes we watched the table adjacent to us who were sat well after us receive their chef. At this point we decided to leave. Once again at the front desk I requested a manager and continued to wait another 15 minutes. Staff in the front were completely uninterested with helping anyone. I was told several times that the manager was busy attending to other matters. We had 8pm reservations and walked out of this establishment at 11pm with no dinner and a ruined celebration.
Waited for an one hour 30 minutes when I had reservations at 7:15 didn't get seated until 8:30. Horrible.
It's not hard to see why this Benihana is dead on a Friday night. My kids chicken fingers came raw and once we sent them back we didn't get them back until we were all completely done eating our entire hibachi meal. Service was as bad as it can get...it took forever to point out the fingers were raw and then forever for a refill or anything else we needed. We tried to get the managers attention who was at the host stand chatting away forever with several staff members but we did not succeed. She never took the time to look over at our table much less come by to see how our dinner went. Super disappointing evening
Making the reservation was easy. They responded quickly and assisted me quickly when we arrived. I enjoyed the food however, the ambiance was okay. I did not give it a 5 star because the chef was boring and didn't do any tricks. His opening trick was spinning the spatula and he dropped it and didn't do another trick.
Took my family for a Tuesday evening surprise dinner at Benihana‘s in Miramar, been there 100 times always enjoyed myself very disappointed on this particular night the hibachi chef, had the personality of a rock, did not engage with none of the guest, she really looked and acted like she did not want to be there. Not the kind of experience that you pay for when going to Benihana‘s it's not so much the food it's the experience. It's the showmanship and it's the interaction with the chef and the guest on this day. None of this Took place Manager came and only apologized, but I still got the full bill With no consideration to the poor experience that we endured. Whoever hired this chef should've seen that they have no place dealing with customers, I guess that was a Benihana desperate hire.
Favorite waitress working tonight!! That's why we always go back for more!

As far as Benihana's are concerned, the food and service was on par......however, the interior needs a severe renovation....fast.

Benihana is a fun experience. If your have never been, food is cook in front of you as you sit around a Hibachi. It is communal setting and you will be seating with strangers. It is up to you as to what you make of it. You can interact with people in your table and just focus on your party. The chef that prepares your meal puts on a show. Overall is loud and vivacious. Food is fresh and plenty. Service is prompt and the staff is attentive.
I come here for lunch a couple times a month, the service is outstanding. I always sit with Steven the bartender for a phenomenal experience

We enjoy the hibachi experience, but Benihana has steadily declined in cleanliness and value. It's just dirty. The chairs, the carpet, the grounds outside even, are all dirty. And, because the lighting is always low, it just feels like it's hiding more dirt. But, the service was great and the food met the expectation. Our server was Dee and our chef was Lee. Both were outstanding and accommodating.
