Bon Appetit Restaurant & 727 Lounge

I hate to say this but this maybe ONE OF THE WORST experience I've had at this location. I have been to this place 2-3 times in the past few years and after a LONG WHILE I've decided to give this place another try and this experience has been my 4th time and LAST TIME!

The last 2-3 times I went there, the food was pretty good. But for whatever reason this time, the food was SUPER MID. (maybe they changed chef because when i walked in, the place looked like there may have been some sort of renovation/changes going on).

I came in at around 5pm and ordered a stew chicken. Normally before wrapping up the food, the lady in the front would always open the plate up and show me what the food looks like and ask me if everything was to my liking. This time, the guy that was up front wrapped the food up and handed it to me so I didn't check the food until I got home.

After getting home, at first glance, the presentation of the stew chicken was NOT EYE PLEASING. The meat was extremely dry and it tasted more like stew turkey. It looked like they gave a mixture of both turkey and chicken. Now I don't know if it's because they ran out of chicken but if that was the case, all the guy had to do was tell me that they didn't have anymore chicken.

I won't be going back to that place because I KNOW WHAT GOOD HAITIAN FOOD TASTE LIKE and this place ain't it.

Bon Appetit has new owners and a new name. The food is EXCELLENT and the new owner is very friendly and kind. The restaurant has been very slow at the times I have visited. I believe the new owner is still working on the anesthetics for the restaurant to be more enticing to their patrons. This restaurant is worth you trying. You won't regret the authentic creole flavors of their menu.

Restaurant with a lot of potential. It will be necessary to improve the general atmosphere perhaps by reducing the sound level of the music. It therefore seems wise to invest in the air quality of the restaurant in order to reduce the smell of cooking.

My first time going here the other day. The food was so good I forgot to take a picture. This is most definitely my new Haitian restaurant ❤️ One of the patrons was nice and complimented my black Camaro❤️ we had nice conversations while I waited on my food which was cooked fresh, seasoned and enough for seconds.

This place was amazing I brought my friend who never had Haitian food before and he had boullet and loved everything about Haitian food. He’s now obsessed. And the owner and he’s wide are the nicest most energetic people ever.

Delicious food! Staff made takeout very quick and easy.

Very good food here! I highly recommend coming here for some good breakfast. I'm more than certain they have good lunch as well, I only ever went for breakfast. Nice family owned and operated business. They are always happy and friendly to every customer who walks through the door. Not too many reviews get a solid 5 stars from me, but this one definitely does.
