Doucè Restaurant and Lounge offers a nice atmosphere for get-togethers and brunch. The white rice is a highlight in some dishes, such as the boulettes and grilled fish with pea sauce. The food is slammin, with flavors that impress, especially the meatballs that bring back childhood memories. Drinks are good too, and many customers recommend the place. However, there have been issues with the boulettes being raw in the middle and the grilled fish potentially not being fresh. The Haitian cake for dessert disappointed some, as it felt store-bought and not authentic. The music is enjoyable, though some find it too loud and wish for more Haitian music instead of R&B. The hookah smoke can make the interior quite foggy. Despite minor flaws, many guests plan to return for the food.
