The restaurant is very well located, plenty of convenient parking and easy to find. On Sunday's Service is a little slow, however the food and atmosphere at above par. Great ambiance and once you get settled in, it takes you on a trip to Spain itself. Looking forward to returning on Friday and or Saturday for their shows.

The host was very friendly and really made us feel welcome. The service was excellent and very accommodating. The waitress explained the dishes and even let us try a couple of Spanish wines to see which one we liked. Even the chef came out of the kitchen to meet and speak to us. That was a very nice touch.

We had an amazing evening at El Pillao. We had a party of about 25 people and everything was perfect. The service was superb, accommodating to every request from each of our guests. As for the food , what can I say... spectacular , authentic, Spanish tapas and paellas. Each and every entree was delicious. No exception! Highly recommended!

This is the very best dining experience I've had thus far in terms of quality, quantity and service. If your looking for an authentic spanish restaurant with great food and service, don't hesitate to stop by! Special thanks to our host Daymi and our chef Alberto.

El Pillao is the hidden Jewel of S. Florida, by far the best Spanish Restaurants in S. Florida, in my opinion. The owner/chef Alberto, is very talented, beyond kind and friendly, the staff is amazing, specially Daymine, she is one of the best servers I have had the pleasure of dining with.I Have never had a dish or Tapas at El Pillao, that was not first class with exploding flavors and the freshest ingredients.I have traveled through Spain and visited many Spanish restaurants through out the world. But El Pillao stands out as a leader when it comes to Spanish Cuisine. I have had The Tortilla Española in many places world wide including multiple cities in Spain but the Tortilla Española at El Pillao, is by far the best I have had world wide! A must try with stunning flavor, perfect texture, fresh ingredients and great presentation.I also recommend the (Shrimp with garlic) Gambas al ajillo, perfectly prepared with garlic and parley that screams with exuberant flavors. This place rocks and the ownership and staff, make it an even better, wonderful experience. I highly recommend it. Try it for yourself and you will not be disappointed. They are following all the Covid 19 regulations, so don't be afraid to visit, you can eat in, sit outside or order to go. Either way you will enjoy the dining experience.

My parents decided to visit this so called restaurant. My mother was told from the waitress that the menu was limited and that they had no sea food except for paella. While waiting, my mother hears the owner offer a selection of fish and seafood to another table. When the waitress came back, my mother asked her kindly“ to ask the owner again about serving seafood and the selection of fishes that she heard the owner” offer to the other table. Next thing, the “owner comes to my mothers table and asks her. What did my waitress offer you? My mom innocently responds she offered paella. His nasty respond to that was Well then that’s all we have! ???????? How much more rude can he get? My mother pretty much told him of how rude he was In every direction! The man told her he has an exclusive clientele And he had the right as the owner to serve whatever he wants to his local clientele! After ruining the evening this man returns and offers my mom a free bottle of wine! Or at least. My mother pretty much lost it at this point Still left the money on the table paying for everything even while this man refused to charge! We will NEVER EVER! Put a foot in that place again! Sorry but no one that goes through this will ever recommend a place like this! We ended up going to la taberna de Ignacio where they great us with love and redirect as any customer deserves. Nothing else to say

We arrived shortly before closing, we were met by a very friendly waitress, she spoke little English, we spoke even less Spanish, but we ordered Spanish Omelette from the Tapas menu & lamb chops. The food came out in short order, delicious & filling! When our bill was brought to the table, I was given a beautiful rose. We went there just before Covid-19 restrictions were implemented, we will certainly go back if we stay in Miramar again. Certainly worth a visit.

We paid a lot of money for a small amount of food. We ordered 3 paella's, we got one a half. It was very upsetting because the chef was disrespectful and I paid a lot of money for the amount that I got.
