HORRIBLE, FLAVORLESS and over priced! Maybe they had a bad day at the Homestead Festival on July 4th but they were charging $45 for 1 pieces of fish, 2 pieces of conch and 5 shrimp with a few fries! Two lemonades were about $28! Pretty much $73 for 2 drinks and 1 meal ! If you’re going to triple and double charge, make sure your food is FRESH, FLAVORED, & APPEALING! The fish was disgusting, dry and seemed unfresh/stale! The conch was rubbery and the dough was uncooked and this was flavorless as well! The shrimp was so so! I ended up taking the food (1 fish, 2 pieces of conch ,3 shrimp, fries) back to the truck and the “cook/owner” seemed offended! Majority of the food was returned within 6 mins, that’s how appalled I was at the taste and look! She insisted the food was fresh and gave attitude and stated JUST THROW IT AWAY ! Respectfully, I went to the side of the truck so the other customers wouldn’t see the nasty meal I was returning! If I had bad intentions, I would have taking that plate of food right to the front of the truck and complained! I didn’t want the food, so I allowed them to charge me for a shrimp dinner (which I didn’t get) and just refund me the difference $25! Meaning I still paid about $50 and ended up with NO FOOD! Do better if you’re given the opportunity to provide service and food at festivals esp when you’re charging so much! The money isn’t the issue, that bad attitude and stale food is the issue! When a customer is dissatisfied at least have the courtesy to apologize or seem interested in their concerns with your products! The food was poorly prepared and seasoned! The customer service received after the customer returned the food was unacceptable thus the reason for this review! You could have mitigated a bad review by how you handled the customer! Do better!
