Sadly, I no longer go here for food since golden krust closed and kokonuts opened. It took me all of two visits to know that they were not going to serve me the way I wanted to be served. Some then, I've never been back. The food just doesn't look appealing. It's set up like a buffet style so you could see what they have and place your order. The food always looked old and dried up, especially the fish. My husband is a little bit more tolerant so he kept going back. But, after multiple times with them always being out of one of his favorite sides, plantain, he decided to let them go as well. The food is one thing and the customer service is another. They just have to do better. I hope they make it.

Please...MAKE MORE BEEF PATTYS THROUGHOUT THE DAY. I don’t eat anything else from here and it’s extremely disappointing to come and be told there’s none left. Unfortunately this is not the first nor second time I’ve drove over there and had to turn around.

I haven't been here in 6 years. I was surprised to see it was still here but under a new name. Kokonuts. New name, same place. I ordered the j*** pork, rice and peas , cabbage and plantains. Allot of food and a small order at that, it was plenty and filling. The food was good. Service was nice. I was the only one there so full attention on me. The serving was a good size. The taste, just like it use to be. Meat was tender and tasty. All was good. I will be back. Recommend.

Worst tasting food ever.... insipid, the brown stew chicken was full of ketsup and the rice and peas was uncooked. I had them catered for my Christmas party last year the food was so tasteless and insipid that I had to pick up food for my guest from Polo Tropical which saved me from the embarrassment. I informed them about it and instead of trying to resolve the issue they decided to inform me that I should have tasted it before purchasing. Who does that when you're catering for a party? Never again!!

Ok so I was on my way to what I thought was Golden Krust and they were no longer there... but Kokonuts was! I got the Fried Chicken(hard to mess that up) with BBQ Jelly on top of rice. I was basically junking out my dinner. I will say I tried a piece of the Brown Stew Chicken to sample and it lacked true Jamaican flavor. However they still get 3 stars because the Fried Chicken was GREAT! I do look forward to visiting them again and trying out other items in the hopes of giving a higher rating next time!
