I've come here often because it's close to work. I've never been satisfied by the service but today was the last straw. It took about 10 mins to get an egg drop soup and egg roll. When it was done, he didn't serve it to me. He instead began prepping a different order. An order for someone who wasn't there. Before I even placed the order, he interrupted me as I was placing it to answer the phone. A simple order. You just lost a customer. Never again. Your restaurant used one egg for the large egg drop soup I ordered. The egg roll I couldn't even finished because it was so oily.

Best chinese food in west Miramar. They used to have a problem with orders being wrong but it seems to have been resolved. It is mainly take out. It's a tiny place. They have a couple of small tables in the store, but if you order food from here it's recommended to take it home.

For the last 5 years I have ordered food from this place, but something changed and no more. Last three times I have ordered the sweet and sour pork the food tasted rancid, like they have not changed the oil in weeks.
Worst chicken fried rice I've ever had. It had a couple of pieces of flavorless chicken and some peas & carrots. The vegetable soup was full of fresh, crunchy veggies, but the broth had barely any flavor. I would never eat from here again.

Horrible fried rice! I asked for a quart of "special fried rice" and had no shrimp, no green cuts.. nothing! Just rice, little chicken, carrots, and a gallon of SOY SAUCE... for $12.

This was our usual to go Chinese food place until tonight. Our order was missing items and the food we did receive was inedible. The egg rolls were soggy and greasy. The sweet and sour chicken was not the usual white meat we've gotten in the recent past. This meat was dark and chewy; we couldn't eat it. The wonton soup tasted rancid. If I could give Orient Chef zero stars after tonight's disaster of a dinner, I would. We will not order from here again!
