This place is a hot mess. Went through the drive through. Took forever. Got home and realized had 3 items missing. Went back and told the staff and they brought me out a bag with what was supposedly missing. Still had an item missing! All the while the staff is joking around having a jolly ol time and cursing and can’t even get my order right….twice!
Edit: Would like to add when I was driving home for the second time I get a text from my daughter that they forgot her beans. I thought she was joking because she likes to do that at times but when I got home, she wasn't joking. You can add that to the list of mistakes.

Got home to find two missing items and one wrong item, not a big deal because it happens. When I went back though, it was pretty demoralizing for a few minutes since no one would try to make eye contact with me to try to give help, though very obviously could see me waiting. I was the only person there. I’ll take “someone will be with you.” I know this is kind of how it is now, but it still sucks. An employee came out from the back, maybe shift leader/manager, and he took care of us right away and remade everything himself. It wasn’t needed but I appreciate the gesture. I know things are tough for everyone. One of my customers told me my company’s customer service was trash yesterday. I get stuff like that on a daily basis. Another one sent me some weird controversial news link. Some just say “MANAGER! ESCALATE THIS! I DONT WANT TO TALK TO YOU I WANT YOUR SUPE”. I don't want to do that. Things are weird and people are weird and we all get worn down snd just want to get home. Thank you sir for caring and everyone there working hard for the last couple of power hours.

I recently visited Pollo Tropical and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The food came out fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The chicken was juicy, perfectly seasoned, and had that unique grilled taste that sets it apart. The side dishes were also delicious, especially the rice with beans and the sweet plantains.
The service was fast and friendly, with staff always attentive and willing to help. The restaurant was clean and well-organized, providing a pleasant atmosphere to enjoy a meal with family. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes offered.
Overall, it’s a reliable and tasty option for lunch or dinner, whether dining in or taking food to go. I definitely recommend it and will be coming back soon!
