The Amazon rain forest smoothie was great but the kids smoothie and the green tea splash were not smooth at all, but icee.
The proportion of fruit to ice was way off. When I asked them to remake it it was the same way. They finally added more banana, which is what I told them it needed.
But they weren't happy about it. The menu is overwhelming with little description of many choices. But the one making the smoothie needs to learn how to make it. 33 bucks for 3 smoothies and a bag of chips ..
It should have been consistently good. Also it's helpful to speak Spanish because the employees don't speak English.

I highly recommend this place good music good environment good vibes and healthy food, try the delicious açaí bowls and there are many options and flavors, and you can even ask for a variety of enhancers to make sure you are having what you are looking for, and smoothies for sure, the owners always offering the best service ever in person, something you don’t use to see in other places !…. They also offer homemade healthy snacks you should try

I really wanted to like this place because the lady in charge is genuinely very, very nice. But the experience was disappointing from start to finish.

I came specifically for a smoothie, but the front cover of their menu shows chicken bowls, tomato-and-cheese bruschetta, and other food items. I walked into what I thought was a smoothie-specialty shop, not a full restaurant. The menu is so extensive that I honestly didn’t know what to order.

I asked for a smoothie with coconut meat (which is very easy to find frozen), and they had no idea what I meant. So I ordered an açaí bowl with pistachio cream instead. What I got was a bowl full of granola — nothing like what I asked for — so I had to return it.

Then I ordered a smoothie with avocado and chocolate protein. Since chocolate protein wasn’t on the menu, the lady agreed to add some, but it was literally a dusting — maybe 0.1 grams — as if I wouldn’t notice. I still ended up paying $15 for a really bad smoothie.

On top of that, there was no air conditioning and the place looks very neglected and unattractive.

Very nice staff, but overall: first and last time. Never again.

Middle age women serving me was very inconsiderate , I was the only customer in the shop being served but once other customers walked into the business my order was pushed back while she took other orders, I felt very ignored!!!!!!!! Terrible service!!!!

Please re-train the employees on good manners. I walk in to pick up my to go order and they just look at me like I have two heads. I say good morning and the worker hands me the drink without even giving me a straw. If you’re going to work in our neighborhood, learn good manners 👋🏾

I'm so happy a Smoothie Plus opened out west. The Hollywood location has always been great. It was wonderful seeing the same owners in the Miramar location.

I walked into this food spot today around 7:20 PM, curious and excited to try a new healthy place. It was my first time there, and the restaurant was empty except for one employee behind the counter. I approached the register and greeted him, but was met with barely a nod—no words, no welcome.

I began scanning the menu, and within less than a minute, he said, “Whenever you're ready, just call me,” and walked away. The dismissiveness and lack of basic courtesy genuinely caught me off guard. It felt like my presence was an inconvenience.

I ended up walking out without ordering. I'm not sure if the person was an employee or the owner, but either way, the interaction left me feeling unwelcome.

We all have off days—but if customer service is part of your role, kindness and professionalism should still come through. I’m sharing this as genuine feedback in hopes it’s taken as an opportunity for growth.

Clean little place with minimal seating. They serve food that would be considered healthy and is definitely a better choice than fried foods, greasy burgers and fries. I am here often for one thing. I love their açaí bowls. I always get the classic in either small or medium. In order to attempt to reduce the sugar, I get no banana. This bowl has a heaping portion of açaí frozen sorbet type mix and topped with granola, fruit and chia seeds. I am pretty much addicted to this bowl and have had to stop coming so often because I know that it’s still loaded with sugar. They do say that it has no added sugar but their açaí is sweet. If you’ve ever had real acai, it isn’t sweet at all and more of a tart taste. Places like this will blend it up with fruit, and even dairy to make it more appealing to the palate. Some also add honey. So if you’re concerned about your sugar intake, I do believe that this has a lot of sugar. I have cut down to maybe once per month as opposed to once per week (which is how often I was eating this). I blabbed so much about the bowl but I do want to mention, I have also tried their salad with tuna. The salad has lots of beautiful fresh vegetables and I love that. However, I find their tuna to be dry and a bit salty. I think all tuna salad needs is mayo and black pepper because it’s already salty. That way, it won’t clash with your salad dressing. And since I’ve mentioned dressing, their dressings are not good to me. I dislike all that Ive tasted so far, the poblano avocado dressing, the jerk dressing, plain Italian dressing all taste store bought and loaded with preservatives. So I don’t get dressing when I get salad from here. Otherwise, I like this place, like the atmosphere, they are always very nice, service is quick, they have a steady flow of customers all the time. Nice lunch break spot.
