We have given this restaurant several chances to change our minds; 4 tries in fact. It truly is a shame, because I want them to succeed, but at this rate, they are doomed for failure. We met our neighbors for dinner, 5 of us total, on Friday night. The waitress was super nice, but seemed either new or in over her head. During our whole stay we had 3 glasses of water for the whole table of 5, that she never refilled. My son's steamed shrimp shumai, which did not come out with the other appetizers, I had to ask about it, was totally cold in the center and we had to send it back. We ordered a double roll for him and he stayed hungry. My husband ordered the hibachi scallops and he got sick from them. He said they were rubbery and possibly undercooked. His chicken fried rice lacked the flavor we've come to know from other Sushi Sakes. My lobster roll was good and our neighbor's food was good too. The waitress never stopped by to offer more drinks, so they lost revenue there. It's sad. The owner should be present. Of all the times I've been, she was only present the first time. If she wants to save this place, she really needs to be there to try and save it. For the prices being charged the food quality and QUANTITY needs to improve as well as the service. Not sure we will give it a 5th try. This restaurant is unlike the Sushi Sake in Key Largo which we love because it's so consistent. Too much money for mediocre food and service.

I visited this establishment for happy hour with a friend and was delighted by the experience. The staff was exceptionally attentive, and the food was nothing short of delicious. To our surprise and pleasure, the place was not crowded at all—something I personally enjoy. We arrived during their lunchtime special and everything we tried was excellent. Highly recommend for a serene and satisfying dining experience.

All of the sushi places in South Florida seem to be overpriced and mediocre, except this one. Somehow Sushi Sake has the most reasonable prices and the best sushi in the area without having to drive 40 mins to the middle of Miami. This is my spot now for sure.

My first time here and I’ll be back in a few days for more. The food was hot, delicious, and fresh. Service was quick and friendly. Not the greatest location but it’s close to home so I’m very happy.

Our first time here (my husband and I), food was delish ? and tasted so fresh. The service on point and place was inviting, great for casual dates, meeting with friends or even family gatherings. We had for starters the ceviche trio absolutely delicious and fresh to the palette and a side of edamames. As a main course I had the crunch roll with chopped tuna and my husband the pineapple house fried rice with chicken and steak yummo! For dessert we shared a fried banana tempura and by that point we couldn't fit anything else. Portions were just perfect, I believe Ernesto (sorry if I got it wrong) was the name of our waiter and he was super attentive and professional. Bathrooms were super clean as well as the whole dinning area, overall just a very nice place to go back to for sure ?Parking: Is in a plaza so plenty of parking everywhere

This place went down hill fast. When they first opened up it was good. Great service and food. I went there the other day. Service was terrible. It wasn’t that crowded. I asked the waitress about 6 times for a cup of ice. I finally got it 30 minutes later. How hard is it to bring ice. I ordered hot food and a salad. They bring the salad last. Normally they bring the salad first. I guess not here. When I finally was done with my salad the food was cold. I should have taken my food back, but I didn’t feel like waiting another hour. Very expensive for cold food. I guess I have to take this restaurant off my list.

Food is average and service is terrible. They only have 2 chefs in the kitchen due to the size of the kitchen. Vennie the owner does not want to accept feedback on this claiming that the delay is due to everything is freshly cooked. If you want to have drinks go there, but if you want to be served in a reasonable time do not eat there.
