Nice reggae music. It was very crowded and it took a very long time to get a drink. I still recommend it. It would be 5 stars, if they increase the dancefloor a little bit and hired more bartenders.

Tropix is still going strong. The DJ has evolved, the music was very good and the crowd was having a great time. Surprisingly my friends said the food was not good. But you can't really expect much in the middle of the night, I think they got some wings. Overall what I came for, I got, which was good music and a good atmosphere.

I have to say this is the worst restaurant I have ever been to in the case of services I walk in and there were a guy sitting at the door on is phone didn't even acknowledge me.. I made my way to the dining area sat at a table and for 15 minutes no one came to see if I needed anything then I got up went to the bar and another 10 or so minutes wait a lady with a low hair cut ask if I need anything I say yes can I get a menu she gave me one and she never came back to see if I am going to place an order. Remind you there were 3 lady's in the kitchen and a guy with a pony tail a long ponytail I guess he's the cook.. but all that time i was there no one came to see if I need anything.. so I end up walking out went to another restaurant where I got good service.. I guess its a Florida thing.. Tropix employee or even the owner needs customer service training..

Always a good reggae vibe here at Tropix. I've been coming to this spot for many yrs off and on. Food is good music good drinks good, parking good, security good. I was living in both Miami and NY. When in Miami Tropixs was a must. I go way back, so far back I should be grandmothered in. Nice vibes always.
