What a great place!! We needed a place to take a quick day trip, so my girl and I hopped in the truck and drove out to BFE, and fount Ortana!! How cool!!! The ladies working were so cool, the food was great, the drinks were cold, and the water front mood was perfect!! We WILL be back!! Thank you!!

Oh my gosh, this is truly a hidden gem! It really isn't very far from several towns so my advice is go! We had great service on a Monday afternoon and let me say the pizza is amazing and the beer is cold.

I really enjoyed my lunch at Ortona Tavern. I had the Tuna Croissant sandwich and it was delicious. Went with a group of about 10 close friends. We got there early since we had a big group and by the time we left the place had really filled in.
Nice place off the beton path, beer and wine, food is very good a little slow but worth the wait, very nice people, great place to take a bike or car for lunch
I have to say this place is absolutely amazing. The owner Kathy (Cathy) is amazing and very friendly. I also met Tammy another amazing very friendly employee. The place is very nice and food is absolutely amazing. No complaints. I will definitely be back and let my friends know if the place. Thank you so much Kathy and Tammy.
Nice little place on a canal. They now take credit cards. Very peaceful.
So good. Going back tonight

A little place in the middle of nowhere Florida on a canal off the Caloosahatchee River between Lake Okechobee and Fort Myers. A few spots to sit inside and more outside on the deck overlooking the canal. Good food and cold beer.
I’m giving top rating because the staff was really kind and makes you feel like home. It’s a beautiful, rural setting with solid diner foo and welcoming atmosphere. Other big plusses are clean bathrooms, dog friendly, and reasonably priced meals on the water.
We stopped in on a whim on the way back home to Fort Myers. We had a reuben, cheeseburger, onion rings, and fries. All were very tasty! Will be back.

Off the Beaten path. Stopped in to this unique little Tavern Cold beer ? , sweet tea, hot good food and friendly service. Our girl Missy was all in one head cook, bar keep and bottle washer. Service with a smile . It was like going to a friend's house and hanging in the back yard with friends.
