DO NOT EAT HERE . I ordered the bbq ribs and upon opening my container there was a live roach crawling around! This is absolutely disgusting. The only good thing about this place is the woman named brandy who works there . If it wasn’t for her the whole place would go to shit. Don’t waste your time

Was at one time the best around. Over the last 3 months went down hill fast. In town let's give it another try. At 11:15 am ordered rib plate with limas and mac and cheese. Consumed approx half and put rest in trash. Limas not done, mac and cheese not seasoned, ribs tasted burnt. So last time today not wasing my money anymore. Go down the road to McDonald's. Great thin end ribs. They are like a crispy almost jerky like texture to the bark while also tender meat. The spicy mustard bbq sauce is excellent and the sides are decent. A great Florida bbq location that has been around for years. It looks like they are finishing up a dining room area which will be a nice addition as there is only minimal outside seating.

I decided about 2 years ago the food is not flavorful and for the money I will go elsewhere. Today, I decided to walk next door and get my Sweet Thang lunch. After giving my order, the lady went to the back, came back with a tray of containers, and MICROWAVED THE ENTIRE MEAL! DONE, NEVER AGAIN!

I had the wildest experience at carters today. I ordered ribs and onion rings. Every last order of onion rings were just onion flavored donuts. Not a single onion in any of them. What the actual heck? Never had that before from them. I could see what looked like specks of onions in them but only on a couple.
This place has huge consistency issues I find. I like them, but getting orders wrong and/or weird so many times in recent years makes me not want to go back. This was just the straw that broke the camels back for me.
We wanted to try the BBQ today but waited at the drive-in window for at least 10 minutes without being greeted. So we drove off. A business without good customer service lacks a lot. A simple HELLO, we will be with you as soon as we can would have made a big difference. Unfortunately, I will not spend my hard earned money on a business that lacks basic customer service skills.

The food is not like it use to be. The meat is hard like it was boiled first. The potato salad taste too sweet. The bread is cheap store brought bread. A waste of my $21.11. The only thing worth buying and worth my money is the sweet tea. I will never waste my money at CARTERS BBQ again.
