You will not go wrong ordering the fried shrimp and fries. This was my second time here and the food has been amazing both times. The seating by the water is great and the staff is also very accommodating. All of the menu options look amazing and the prices are very fair for the quality and quantity of food you get. If you’re in Navarre definitely stop in and give them a try.

Tip for first timers: know the menu before you go, especially during busy times. Here's why. This place is a deli style. You order at the counter as you walk in. They do not take your order at the table. So, if you don't want dirty looks while your group of 10 is deciding what to eat, kinda plan ahead. This was not an issue for us. Since we are from out of state, we looked ahead. The ordering was simple, and the menu was short and direct. The young lady taking our order was really nice and answered all our questions. We were a family of 4. I had the mate platter with Mahi Mahi, scallops, and shrimp. Kids had shrimp baskets, and their mom had the spicy gumbo. We also ordered a side of hush puppies and fresh oysters. The oysters were delicious! It was so fresh and big. The hush puppies are amazing as well. Kids really liked their shrimp. My plate was overall really good. The seafood was cooked perfectly. I requested blackened, and to be honest, I should've gotten just grilled. The seasoning was good, but it was a bit overpowering. The potatoes were well cooked and tasty, and my corn was not good, to be honest, no flavor, and water down. There were many mentions of portions sizes. It was not an issue for us. Overall, I will recommend and would go back. A little on the higher price range, but considering we are on vacation town, not so bad. Dinner for 4 with two appetizers, drinks, and one slice of pie was about 100 bucks.

The only thing this place has going for itself is the view. Food is way over priced for small portions of mediocre food. Burnt cold though and no flavor so many better options to go out where you can actually enjoy your meals . my kids didn't even eat their food,

Dewey Destins is my go to seafood restaurant, my family and I enjoy going there. We always have a wonderful experience and its a restaurant that's amazing for both locals and tourists, my friends and I love there drinks at the bar. Love there delicious key-lime pie and there gumbo and how fast the service is. Thank you for all the great views and memory's Deweys!
Kid-friendliness: My kids love the beach in the back of Deweys that is accessable for everyone and the events Deweys will have for certain holidays,I always recommend this restaurant to my friends with kids that are from out of state.
Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to go into the back and front, easy for all family members!
Stopped here on our way to FWB should have kept going. Fish they have on the Mate’s platter cashier told us wasn’t “good” up charged us for 3 fin. Why offer it if it isn’t good? Platter is $23+ for fish that isn’t “good”?? Fried crab claws very bland. Hush puppies have jalapeños too spicy for some in our party. Grilled/Blackened shrimp partially peeled. When you bite you get the shell. Corn on the cob tastes like Always frozen corn, no flavor. Fries salty & soggy. Small portions for the price, don’t bother.
