I don’t like to leave bad reviews, but I feel it’s important to share our experience. This is not our first bad experience there. We have been four times and every time was just as bad. We only went back so the kids can play in the sand while we wait for the food (this will be the last time!) My grandson ordered the kids’ fried fish meal. The fish was hard as a rock, extremely dry inside, and smelled very fishy — completely inedible. The hush puppy was also so hard you couldn’t even bite into it. The french fries were good. My granddaughter ordered the kids’ grilled cheese. It was burned to a crisp yet somehow greasy, and there was something inside that looked like melted plastic, which I assume was the cheese. Again, the hush puppy was inedible, but the french fries were good. I ordered the shrimp ceviche. While it had good flavor, there were only a couple of shrimp — the rest was mostly onions and mushy tomatoes. The worst part was the water they served, which smelled like dirty dishwater. So, for $33 , all we could eat were the salty french fries. We left hungry and dehydrated.
Got food poisoning twice from eating shrimp from there! Will never go back!
Food was good, so was the service . Would definitely eat at this location again .
The food and drinks were top tier! Highly recommend!
Enjoyed two wonderful meals at Dewey Destin's Navarre during our vacation this week. 🐠🍤 Blackened shrimp, scallops and mahi-mahi with potatoes, corn on the cob and hush puppies were delicious! 😋 Also enjoyed talking with Ryan and appreciated him bringing our pup a bowl of water to keep cool while we ate. Even had the pleasure of learning the history about Dewey Destin’s from Cameron, which was extra special!
Samantha and Dailon were the best servers ever!!!! It was my mom’s bday and didn’t know where to go to eat! Everything was seasoned and fresh. My cousin told Sam it was my mom’s bday and she gave us not one but 2 key lime pies that was so delicious! When we visit Naverre Beach again we will be going here again. Thanks again!
You will not go wrong ordering the fried shrimp and fries. This was my second time here and the food has been amazing both times. The seating by the water is great and the staff is also very accommodating. All of the menu options look amazing and the prices are very fair for the quality and quantity of food you get. If you’re in Navarre definitely stop in and give them a try.

Tip for first timers: know the menu before you go, especially during busy times. Here's why. This place is a deli style. You order at the counter as you walk in. They do not take your order at the table. So, if you don't want dirty looks while your group of 10 is deciding what to eat, kinda plan ahead.
This was not an issue for us. Since we are from out of state, we looked ahead. The ordering was simple, and the menu was short and direct. The young lady taking our order was really nice and answered all our questions. We were a family of 4. I had the mate platter with Mahi Mahi, scallops, and shrimp. Kids had shrimp baskets, and their mom had the spicy gumbo. We also ordered a side of hush puppies and fresh oysters. The oysters were delicious! It was so fresh and big. The hush puppies are amazing as well. Kids really liked their shrimp. My plate was overall really good. The seafood was cooked perfectly. I requested blackened, and to be honest, I should've gotten just grilled. The seasoning was good, but it was a bit overpowering. The potatoes were well cooked and tasty, and my corn was not good, to be honest, no flavor, and water down. There were many mentions of portions sizes. It was not an issue for us. Overall, I will recommend and would go back. A little on the higher price range, but considering we are on vacation town, not so bad. Dinner for 4 with two appetizers, drinks, and one slice of pie was about 100 bucks.

I’ll give an A for view…food just meh…fries were not even hot and the place was not busy at all. No one came to check on us once we got our food. Kinda disappointed.

Such a fun place! The food was fresh and delicious, however I do enjoy a bit more seasonings personally. The atmosphere is fun and relaxing and the service fast and kind!

Overpriced and lacks flavor. We tried it twice, thinking the first time was an off day. Wouldn't recommend.

Great atmosphere, easy to order right before you sit at your table. The portions were just right, not too much but felt full leaving.

The only thing this place has going for itself is the view. Food is way over priced for small portions of mediocre food. Burnt cold though and no flavor so many better options to go out where you can actually enjoy your meals .
my kids didn't even eat their food,
