Wanted to leave a review for Easter brunch. Tommy, the owner, took great care to see that we were seated promptly and came by during our meal to check on us. He said this was their first time serving brunch. I don't know how crazy you have to be to have brunch for the first time on one of the busiest brunch days of the year, but we thought they did a good job. The owner was first class. My wife and I had dinner here to try out the new place. Our food was good. The owner stopped by our table and asked of our opinion of the food. Upon talking we realized he is also the owner of Emerald Republic Brewing. If you haven't been, you need to go. He then proudly gave us 2 samples of his 2 favorite beers that they brew, a Cherry Sour and a light beer. He takes a lot of pride in what he does and he made our whole evening by that small gesture....
We were hopeful as we stepped in the new Emerald Waterfront restaurant. I remember being there years ago when it was a not so special BBQ place. Our waiter Joel was attentive and informative and provided excellent suggestions and service. The owner greeted our table of 4 and was very gracious and inviting.
