Great spot, great atmosphere, and absolutely fantastic sashimi, nigiri, and Sushi 🍣!!!! Definitely will be back the eel nigiri was probably the best I've ever had and the salmon sashimi was so good

Just a note about price per person, we did order multiple items per person. But, in looking at entree prices per person I would say it's fair to say $15 to $25 for most menu items. The yellowfin tuna sashimi was delicious, and it could also be purchased as a seared item. Flavored sake was available, I got the pineapple, but I don't know that I would necessarily recommend it. It's a bit of an acquired taste. Our server was delightful and paid attention to our needs. Parking is a little tight. The entrance is a little obscure, you can see the sign but it's challenging to figure out where to go in, too many driveways. Overall this was one of the better sushi places I've had.

We wrapped up a beach trip at Navarre Beach and headed over to the Slippery Mermaid. We got there with just an hour left but the staff was super friendly and got our food quickly. We ordered the Psycho Mermaid, the spicy tuna, and the tropical mermaid. The spicy tuna was alright. Good but not the best I’ve had. The Psyco mermaid was delicious. It’s covered in surimi and amazing. The tropical mermaid was also very good. The staff was so friendly and attentive.

Simply amazing!! Best Land and Sea roll I've ever had the please of eating and a cumbersalad that hit the palate perfectly. Paired with a crew of excellent ladies providing top-notch service and a beautiful view from the outside patio area my lunch was not only fully satisfactory but beyond so, in every single way. Very rarely, do I ever choose to eat at the same spot twice but I absolutely will have to come back on a later day.

The vegan chef's choice was fantastic. They have outdoor seating to get a view of the water as well, and the indoor is very newly remodeled for a wonderful atmosphere. Fantastic staff and owners that are accommodating any dietary questions you may have.

Really doesn’t get much better than this.

Based on the great reviews, we tried The Slippery Mermaid and can confirm that the reviews here are legit. We were very pleased with the service and the food and we enjoyed the vibe & decor and the restaurant was very clean. We loved the Mermaid Tails appetizer and then ordered the Psycho Mermaid, Tropical Mermaid, Shrimp Tempura and California Rolls which were all very good. We look forward to eating here again.

My bowl was bland. My wife’s sushi was mediocre. Service could of been more attentive. I felt rushed by server. Drinks were okay but nothing to brag about. No kids menu which was disappointing.

Awful experience and long waits. Food is a bit overpriced as well for what is being offered, been multiple times over the years and it has gone down.
