Where Y’at Seafood Market & Restaurant

Get there early because this place is popular and small. Order at the counter, pick your table, and a server will bring your order to your table. It ain't fancy. The food is DELICIOUS, though! Our last lunch visit included Smoked Tuna Dip, Royal Reds, Grouper Po'Boy (yes it's pricey), a Grilled Shrimp Basket, and a few cold beers. Without question, we'll be back!

just wasn't what we were hoping for but it's something to eat

After reading all of the glowing reviews, we were excited to experience a great seafood market and friendly service. Unfortunately, that is not what we found. Nobody said a word when we walked in. We finally just sat down somewhere and the waitress yelled from the across the room, “Do you want menus?” but another customer had to bring them to us because she couldn’t be bothered. Her attitude and that of all the employees that we had interaction with was a sense of annoyance that we were there. Their “seafood market” consists of a tiny little case with some shrimp and three types of fish fillets. The boy helping someone trying to buy fish didn’t have a clue about any of the fish or seafood in general. The food that we ordered was decent but not special and not worth enduring the poor service.

Its okay. I feel like this is more of a community type place, where everyone knows each other and unless your from the community they kind of wonder why you are there. I also think the cost is a bit much, paid around $20 for shrimp basket but got fries with a side of shrimp. so very expensive fries. The food did taste good, but there are far better places to get seafood at that kind of cost.

Best crawfish I believe I’ve ever had. Definitely worth every penny.

Oyster!!! You must try it. Crayfish Unlimited for $35+tax on Wednesday per person! Noon to 3pm.

Best best best... King of the Crawfish world... Great service good people and their menu rocks

Came here with super high hopes. They were having a crawfish special so we got that and I asked for extra spicy and there was a four dollar up charge. When it came out there was no seasoning on the potatoes or the corn and no butter came with it so it was very dry. The crawfish were good, but not spicy Which I said something to the lady at the end and she gave a refund which was nice of her to try to make it right. They have toys and stuff out back but they are all run down, broken or extremely dirty. Will try this place one more time though.

This place is downright incredible. You would never think that this hole in the wall place would have this incredible food. We went and it was so good we came back the next day. The live music: 10/10, the food: 10/10. Overall this place is the best seafood ever and I would eat there every day if I had the chance.

I have been here twice now. I love this place, I decided to bring my family for My Mothers day dinner. They all enjoyed it too. The crawfish are DELICIOUS we had royal red shrimp and the fried shrimp basket, fried pickles, catch of the day fried basket ( black drum I think) everything is so tasteful and fresh and delicious and has load of flavor!!! I love the atmosphere you can sit outside and it's comfortable, fans and shaded areas and a covered area that has live music. Also inside seating, You do have to get your own refills and clean up after yourself, I did not mind at all don't go expecting a fancy dinner and to be waited on. Most of it you eat with your bare hands! This is like being at home on the back porch. So make yourself at home!!! Everybody is friendly and kind, the owner welcomes you and even hangs out to make sure you are enjoying your food he even brings food out to his customers. I love the hole in the wall places like this. I hope they continue to grow. I will be definitely going back as much as I can. I live a hour north of this place. It's worth the drive for the BEST SEAFOOD around!!!

This place never disappoints!! Best crawfish around! You can’t go wrong with anything on their menu.. a great selection of fresh, local seafood served anyway you want it! Boudin egg rolls are aaaamazing!! Ohhhh yeah.. the beer is ice cold!! My favorite place to eat, drink & be merry… laid back, casual atmosphere & some great people serving it up!! Where y’all at?? You should be HERE!!!

Absolutely love this place. Food is spot on and we ordered live crawfish from them and they were the best we have had. You won’t be disappointed if you eat here.

Oh my my! Their crawfish etouffee was heaven! My husband’s grilled sheepshead (COD) was fresh perfection! Courtney’s chicken chasers and the Where y’at white sauce were juicy and tender! And finally…the beignets….we are speechless! They were so light and airy and sweet and deeelicious! You guys are top notch. We are from the north so this cuisine is new to us but you have won over our tastebuds and tummies! Can’t wait to try the rest of your menu! 10++++ outta 10!

Well worth the 30 minute drive from Pensacola beach for us. We had some shrimp, crab and hush puppies and it was all really good. Would definitely return if/when in the area.
