I walked the pier and was helped by Mrs Giny with the $1 fee for pier. She was an absolute sweetheart and the pier is absolutely beautiful to catch a sunset and enjoy a nice peaceful walk. The food is great when you swing through the dining area and it has a atmosphere like NeverLand. So if you get the chance while through and want to grab an amazing souvenir, some food and view this is a great place for it with excellent customer service from people like Mrs Giny.

Windjammers gets five stars for the view and location. I give the food three stars because it’s just so typical honestly it’s just average. I don’t think the service is the servers fault. I just don’t think the restaurant has enough help. But you just can’t beat the atmosphere.

Why did the bartenders have to have such an attitude. That's your job bartenders when somebody sits down at your bar acknowledge him and tell him you'll be with them as soon as you can. Don't let him sit there and watch you serve everyone around them while feeling frustrated that you haven't even been acknowledged.

The view and food are absolutely incredible. We stayed in Destin and came here for a day and it was our favorite part of the trip. This was the best restaurant we went to out of everywhere. Can't wait to come back from Missouri.
Stopped here early afternoon and there was plenty of seating at the bar and tables. Great place for quick drink/bite to eat for sure. Food/pier beer were okay. Nothing to write home about but the views were very beautiful. Bartender was great! Would recommend if you're stopping before/after the turtle sanctuary and/or pier.

The food was very bland and disappointing. Ordered very oily shrimp and very flavorless but well cooked calamari. Everything is gross and sticky, i feel like they never wipe down the childrens seats.The best part of the experience was the live band.
