Service and food are both hit or miss here. When it’s good though it’s really good. You go more for the atmosphere than the food imo

Food was mediocre at best. Compared to the other places you can go around Navarre it’s near the top. The location and vibe of this place is great, maybe the best. The service sucked and the “loaded” tots came with nacho cheese from a concession stand…
It’s a very far fall from Pensacola, Ft Walton or Destin.
Do yourself a favor and go before you’re starving and sit at the bar so you have time to get your taste buds drunk.

Breakfast was delicious with poached eggs, toasted biscuits, bacon, grits, potatos, hollandaise. Things cooled down so quickly, but we sat right next to an open window with gorgeous ocean views! 😍 Our waiter was great even though it was his first day! Conveniently right next to the pier ($1 pp to walk for several hours).

Most people know the expression “wild horses can’t keep you away” if it’s something you really enjoy. It’s my considered opinion that no self-respecting wild horse would go near the place. Speaking of animals, I’m certain the many birds flying around were of the non-defecating variety. I know, I know it’s an open air restaurant but that pigeon, though beautiful, was large and poorly trained. The restaurant is too close to the fishing pier and the proof is that too many employees had fishing tackle stuck in their faces, yes I realize that’s more societal degradation than the fault of the establishment. Hey, this place may be exactly what you’re looking for, great, you can join the many sloshed patrons who seemed to be having a good time.

We popped in about an hour before closing after the sunset and it was starting to get cold so you could tell most of the staff wanted to go home however, our server, Jessica was a delight!
The blackened redfish and smoked tuna dip was fantastic.

When we first arrived the bar tenders didnt acknowledge us for about 15 minutes. We were about to leave but our pager went off and we decided to be seated. Thank goodness we had a great server. I called her FSU Angie. She was very sweet. Were from Tallahassee and big FSU fans. I was indecisive about dessert or a liquor drink. She suggested the famous windjammer and it was exactly what I needed. We added a shot of peanut butter whiskey in my husband's. Those were amazing.
Food was just okay. $86 for 2. Unfortunately very pricey for what they call a smash burger but it was okay.
I will definitely be looking for the ingredients to make that drink at home. It was very memorable.
Thank you Angie.

Our drinks were basically fruit juice and the fish (with the exception of the cheese curds) was terrible. We were waited on by a very friendly and attentive gentleman. Our drinks and food were served quickly. I ordered a Long Island ice tea, my husband a margarita and our friend ordered a Moscow mule. All 3 drinks were very fruity. The fish of the day was grouper and it tasted and looked like catfish. I took one bite. I told the waiter that it tasted terrible and he apologized.

3.75 stars out 5. Stopped in for an early Saturday lunch before the crowds arrived. Food was good, no complaints. Our server was polite and efficient. No complaints there either. But oh my gosh…our table of two was asked not once, not twice, but three, almost four times, if we were having food or drinks. I totally get it. The establishment wants the tables for customers who are purchasing food. But we were asked at the hostess stand. We were asked after we were seated. We were asked after we ate and had our food baskets taken away. And then we intercepted a fourth inquiry, and assured an employee that we had just eaten (the employee was walking around asking tables “are you having food or drinks?”). Again, I get it. I just hope the establishment figures out a better solution to their dining/drinks problem (sooner than later) as I feel pretty certain that hounding patrons is not the dining experience they have in mind!

Saturday 12 noon sunny day, lots of empty tables.
Only one server on. Waited 20 minutes. Poor management. Staff member just talking at check in. Had to be asked to clear tables
