Love this place. Great food, drinks, and fast service.

When one sits at a bar and all chairs are not occupied and maybe 11 people at and sits 20 you would think the three bartenders behind the bar would actually pay attention to you, however that’s not the case they continue to have their back to you. You had asked for the check how to ask to wipe off the chairs at the bar because they were filthy and still did not make eye contact because they’re too busy gossiping as the one bartender told the other bartender They really Shouldn’t have closed the one on Park Street because this one is the one that Amy needs to be closed because obviously they’re not paying attention to customers

Favorite restaurant.

Party of 6 came early waiting for the restaurant to open at 11:00 am. My 88 year old mother in law wanted mexican food for lunch before catching 230 flight. We came early from our hotel and sat under the shade. A waitress came out 10:40 am yelled at to my 88 year old grand mother and wife a school teacher “You need to get off the porch now”. It’s was so rude. We were the first ones to eat. We decided to leave Neptune Beach went to CHIPOTLE spent our money somewhere else. I guess business so good you can insult your regular customers and tourist from Colorado

Great tacos and guacamole made fresh at our table.

Honestly, this was a pretty good experience overall. Chips and salsa were a good way to kick it off but also it was $3.50 for the order. We also ordered the queso dip which was excellent.

On to the meal, we ordered the Steak Bowl which was a bit too spicy for my preference (8 out of 10 spicy level). The other was the chicken bowl was in my opinion much better than the steak bowl.

Our server was really cool and the restaurant looked clean. Will be making a return visit!

Great place for upscale Tacos. Food was perfect, service was good too. Blood orange margarita was just the right pairing. Sorry I didn't get a taco pic, I was hungry. Lol

The food quality was very poor. This use to be an excellent restaurant however has lost its quality. Will never return!

This was our 2nd time at Flying Iguana and it was just as amazing as we remembered. We ordered the queso and empanadas for starters. The empanadas are not like we are used to but surprisingly delicious with a flaky, pastry twist. We love the steak and chicken tacos. The prickly pear margarita and antioxidant drink are our go-tos for beverages here! We definitely recommend Flying Iguana.

We always brought out of state guests here to eat for great food and atmosphere, but no more. Our server brought the traditional basket of chips and left. We waited about 10 minutes before she came back and we pointed out that she forgot the salsa. We were informed that there is a charge for that and needed to order it. Seriously? I’ve never eaten at a place that has complementary chips but doesn’t give you the salsa. It was embarrassing to apologize to our guests. The rest of the meal was good but fell short of what we were used to. Flying Iguana is cutting corners and there are plenty of other places to take our guests.

Zero stars! Steve was an amazing waiter BUT there was another male waiter that was extremely rude. He was walking around the entire time looking miserable so playing around we asked why he looks so sad and he WENT OFF on us. Another person in our party tried to fix it with him and he went off on him too. The manager defended him instead of apologizing. Great experience until dealing with that rude waiter and the female “manager” - but please go see Steve! He was great. Give him the biggest tips 😍

Food and drinks are way below average and come at a premium price, will not be back

Good Mexican style restaurant, guacamole was fresh, tacos are great. I am a bit confused with the cheese dip comes with four tortillas reather than chips, not sure if I'm missing something. Margaritas are delicious. It does get extremely busy so get there early for dinner. Reccomend using the valet parking behind the restaurant, get the ticket stamped by the waiter and parking is free.

This is a popular local place. The food is hit and miss sometimes, but overall, it should be tasty. The drinks are spot on, and happy hour specials can get busy.
