The Lemon Bar is really cool, the food was good and the prices were reasonable. Unfortunately, it was a 20+ minute wait for everything. They had two servers and one bartender for a LOT of people. The staff was going as fast as they could and were really friendly, but they were way under staffed.
We will probably give it another try, but they need to hire a lot more staff.

This is one of my favorite beach bars. The food is always hot and never over seasoned. The drinks are FIRE ! The service is 10/10 each time ! My favorite spot is definitely in the sand (: ! I also love game nights and their specials ! I recommend this place to everyone

When we visit Jacksonville to see our son we always make sure we stop by at the Lemon Bar. That is till 2 weeks ago. It took forever to get our drinks, server was just plain miserable and after our daughter and husband showed the server their id's "valid Ontario drivers licenses" she said " the next time you come here you won't be served drinks unless you show me your passport! " No thankyou or hello or goodbye!

What a great place on the beach with a huge outdoor patio to enjoy food and drink. The drinks are reasonably priced, with a huge drink selection menu. The grilled chicken wings were really good, meaty and flavorful. It is hidden behind the motel so it's tough to find, but once you find it you'll be glad you did!

This place has everything you can ask for: killer shrimp tacos, well-made drinks (the sailors mule was incredible), and quite possibly the best location in Neptune. The staff was also fantastic and really knew their stuff. I'll absolutely be back!

We chose to drink something with my wife, but I wish we hadn't, the service was very bad, there was a blonde woman serving us, she was quite aggressive and rude. When we asked which one would you recommend, she did not answer and ignored us, which is not nice at all. I think she didn't like us speaking any other language other than English and she watched us the whole hour, we were very uncomfortable.

I went to Lemon Bar for the first time last Sunday, with my best friend who was visiting (she and the others we met up with had been before and love it there, for good reason!). We had the BEST time. So much fun to be able to drink, eat, and hang with friends with your feet in the sand and a view of the ocean- we even took a break to swim and come back!
Mostly I wanted to write a review for our servers, Grace and Katy. They took such excellent care of us!! We were a needy table (lots of rounds of drinks, people coming and going, separate tabs, ongoing food orders, etc) and they were always over chatting with us, giving awesome recs, anticipating refills, etc! It's some of the best service I've had at a restaurant or bar in a super long time. They were absolute delights and so much fun, as well as being awesome and capable servers. I made sure to take their names down because I felt like they deserved a shoutout. Will definitely be back soon!!

Over Priced for my girlfriend and I. I ordered a shrimp po boy. With fries. She ordered a hamburger with fries and we both had a margarita. The total bill was 66$ and some change. Not only that but I was charged 8$ for the alcohol to go into the drinks.

I knew we were in for a good 4th of July when I walked into Lemon Bar and saw an Olympic Russell Westbrook Jersey, an NC State Dennis Smith Jr. Jersey, and a back tattoo that read "Never Forget Family." Can it get more patriotic?
We were fighting for one of the picnic benches under one of the 20+ white Truly umbrellas in the open air space, but ended up sitting on a high bench towards the back as it was damn near standing room only.
I got us the first round of drinks, a bucket of 5 high noons that was $25. Coming from NYC, I felt like I had just robbed a bank. That's $50 in the city...
I didn't realize until I came back that our bench directly bordered the beach. You could see and smell the ocean. I don't know why that tripped me out so much, but I really started appreciating life:
Does it get better than being at a casual, borderline trashy, beach bar with the wind blowing lightly on your skin surrounded by people you love while a mediocre DJ mix plays in the background?
It was at this point my Big Sis asked if I wanted a Zyn. I'd never had one before, but my nickname in high school was "Mr. I'll Try Anything Once," so I popped a 6mg pouch in.
I realistically probably wouldn't have, but I saw Tucker Carlson talking about how he takes them when he interviews people and I love this arc he's been on lately. Say what you want about ole Tucky but he's a good interviewer, and interviewing Putin is crrraaaaazzzzyyyyyyyyy.
I packed the Zyn high and tight and I totally get the hype tbh. I was LOCKED in right away and felt great. However, after about a minute, my Big Sis was like "Dang 6mg for your first time is a lot lowkey..."
10 seconds after she said that I began to get a little nauseous and lose control of the wheel. I guarantee if she hadn't have told me that I would have been 100% fine. The power of the human mind is so crazy. Choose wisely.
I ended up being okay, but was RIGHT on that line of falling off the deep end. You ever just go too far and feel like you are in a Hunter S. Thompson novel? Yeah, I was looking right at that line.
I don't even remember why, but I hit 22 push ups because somebody said I couldn't. DOUBT ME NOW! That helped work the nausea off too.
We then ordered some food that consisted of Mozzarella sticks, Chicken Tenders, Fried Banana Pepper Rings, and some fries. This meal saved us. We were collectively starting to go downhill as a group, and it was the perfect bar food to bring us back to life. They should bundle this and have it on the menu as “The Phoenix.”
I loved my time here at Lemon Bar and will romanticize it to the day I die, idgaf. Jax beach in general reminds me so much of Hermosa Beach when I was growing up in LA. So much grit, so much character.
In closing, no matter what you do, no matter where you go, no matter who you become: Never Forget Family.

I was looking forward to making this a regular spot to hang out near the beach, and instead of being greeted friendly by someone at the door, I was told by some stranger hanging out near the entrance to leave my pocketbook at the door. LOL! So, I told him that wasn’t happening and turned around to find somewhere that wants my future business. I guess this place doesn’t want or need it. Their loss.

Nice beachfront with awesome sea breeze. But all the mixed drinks & frozen drinks we ordered were disgusting ? (we were a party of 8 and got 2 drinks each). Such a shame… no one finished any of their drinks. Please improve. Also, the music was wack af. Went on a Friday evening.
