It wasn't busy, there was only 1 table of 5 people and then the 2 of us.This is what we both ordered...The Steak Garlic Melt, and sweet tea.Both sandwiches were so burnt that's all you could taste. Horrible. This is the 3rd time we've ordered this sandwich, but the only time it came out burnt.The tea tasted sour, like it was the bottom of the pot.Very disappointed in tonight's meal and service.This is how the sandwich is described on the menu...STEAK GARLIC MELTThinly shaved steak, sliced onions and provolone cheese served hot with garlic butter pressed on original La Segunda Bakery Cuban bread. $14.99

i’ve eaten here before and loved it, but this last friday 4/5/24 i ordered a pulled pork sandwich and got pretty bad food poisoning.not sure i’ll be able to return anytime soon. ?

Came in for dinner on a Sunday. Was told before we even sat down that they were understaffed and the food would take awhile. I had no idea just how slow it would actually be. Took 15 minutes just to order drinks. After another 30 minutes no one came back to take our food order so we left. I'll be surprised if this place stays open much longer. Never busy.

First time here. We are from NY my other in law wanted to take us out for my birthday. I ordered the surf n turf the steak was very small didn't look like the 8oz I was supposed to get. I got 5 pieces of shrimp instead of 8. I was then asked if I wanted my birthday dessert? Now I don't know about Florida but in NY when someone asks you that. They are giving you a free desert for your birthday. After looking at the over $100 check I saw there was a charge for the desert. I don't know if I would want to ever go back again.

Extenuating circumstances... the night we were there, the bartender AND the chef called out (or quit). The waitresses were trying their beat to make drinks and serve. The manager was in the kitchen cooking. However, the food was delicious. The service was scetchy. It took forever to get our drinks, and we never did get our 2nd round. We had to ask 3 times for our eating utensils. I finally asked about the staffing situation. That is when I was told that people had called out and the manager was doing the cooking. I deliberated on even writing this review because of the situation. However, I feel it important to state that even in this staffing crisis, and it was a crisis, the food was delicious, and the waitresses did not screw up who got what!! Plus, cudos to the manager for stepping up and not just cooking, but also delivering some of the dishes personally so they got to the clients hot!

Update review...The bartender had good service, personal and attentive. Was working alone, about 6 people. Took 30 minuets to get a burger and wings to go.. wins i got the special BOGO 10 wings.. suppose to get 20, got about 15 wings, was suppose to be half buffalo half BBQ but was only BBQ. Wasn't busy, so I stick to my orginal review.. decent but not worthy to go out of my way for it. Has decent weekly specials but would rather have my to go order right than pay less.Seemed clean, staff was friendly. I ordered a philly and it was okay, better in town. The quesidlla was good too, basic chicken and cheese. Salsa was good for dipping. Beer was cold. I'd eat it again, but wouldnt seek this place out on my own accord.
