I arrived with my friends at 9pm, they said that they closed kitchen and asked us to leave when they used to close at 10, a party of 8 persons, we left disappointed

Candela Rapela

Very disappointed. We arrived at 9:00 PM knowing that the restaurant and kitchen were scheduled to close at 10:00 PM. However, the restaurant attendant informed us that they could not serve us because it had been a slow day and they had decided to close the kitchen early.

I would have expected the staff to be happy to welcome a group of eight customers ready to dine and spend money. Instead, we were turned away despite arriving during the posted business hours.

This was a very disappointing experience and not the level of customer service I expected. I do love their food.

We were a party of 8 and we arrived at 8:55 PM to the restaurant and they told us they can not serve us because it was a slow day and the kitchen was añready close and clean. I guess the owner would be so happy with the staff for making no profit in a slow day

The entire staff including the servers and bartenders made us feel uncomfortable meanwhile they didn’t close for another 2 hours. They all walked outside on the porch to clear the floor and make it appear we were alone then the moment we walked out the door they swooped in and cleaned our table. It was so obvious that they wanted us gone. All they had to do was tell us they were looking to leave for the night. It’s frustrating when you’re spending money to enjoy your night but yet you’re being forced out the door.

On a Friday night, we were just trying to enjoy a girls night out. The place was empty by 11, staff was not attending, meanwhile they close at 1. We would have ordered more drinks but they were nowhere to be seen.. it felt as if they wanted no more customers and to just go home. Even the bartender was out. We were the only ones in the place. We tipped well, 20%, and left no mess. So we just left…. the moment we walked out the door, we noticed they all entered back into the building and cleared the tables. Pretty awkward….

We have been there 4 to 5 times. 1st time was meh, nothing really exciting. Not worth sharing a review. 2nd time was with our friends who are regulars.
I don't know what happened but man it has never been a bland meal since. Last week I had some pasta dish. Not that I didn't have high hopes for it but I knew it couldn't be that bad.
Probably a pork sauce that was better than any Italian restaurant I've had in Florida since.

Today we came again with a couple who are your regulars and we had the brunch. I'm not a southern guy but something about the chicken and waffles was calling my name.
Your portion sizes do not disappoint. The flavor as well, does not disappoint. I inhaled that dish.
Sad to see brunch disappear off the menu but obviously challenging times call for decisions. Keep up the great work.

If you didn’t think an almost perfect restaurant existed - this is it!
- Service is beyond 5 stars. Thank you Alex for allowing my friend and I to enjoy the atmosphere and catch up on a Saturday night. You didn’t rush us and you made us feel like family!
- I don’t know where to even begin on the food. They had a ricotta meatball special and I felt drawn to order - glad I did. 4 beautiful melt in your mouth meatballs with a proportionate dollop of ricotta and two slices of garlic toasts to spread and enjoy it. I ordered a dinner salad as well and the amazing garlic balsamic dressing that will go down as my all
time favorite!
My friend opted for the brussels and an extremely large hamburger which was tasteful and delicious all the same.
- The atmosphere is my favorite! Rufus du Sol playing softly overhead with a clean and elegant surrounding.
We watched as each dish came out one by one and decided we must come back with others and order family style because it was amazing.
We had the pleasure to families and date nights come and go with every one of them (except a young couple looking for a freebie, grr) enjoying every last morsel.
My friend and I agreed - our new favorite restaurant and we can’t wait to go through the menu!
Kudos to management, the chef, Rachel for dealing with scammers, and our extremely amazing server Alex!

The food at Harps was good . They don’t serve bread with dinner. They only give 5% military discount where most that give military discount always give 10% . The thing I was really bothered by was that we always being light eaters split a dinner and Harps charges $5.00 which is unacceptable. Especially if you having drinks with your meal. It’s not the amount of $5.00 it’s the principle so we will not be returning in the future. There was 4 of us that dined sat Dec 13th 2025.
