Hibachi Express New Port Richey

I ordered miso soup and a side of shrimp with sushi and shrimp Yoshimar and it is terrible. I paid $40 and it was straight ass. I will never order or even dine in this restaurant ever again.

Messed up my order, I explained it to them before I left the restaurant, they tried to just give me sauce to cover it up. Person who wanted the food does not like how they prepped it, I called and spoke to a manager and they made us buy another entire meal for their mistake. Doesn’t make sense - terrible customer service.

This place almost put me in the hospital last night.

Ordered sushi to go and it was unbelievably salty and rancid. I have never been so sick from eating food before.

Was up all night with n.v.d. and still sick today.

Happened within a few hours after eating their food at home.

I have eaten a ton of sushi in my lifetime and at multiple restaurants but I will never again try their sushi.

I ordered a dinner portion for dine in at lunch time and they told me they didn’t have plates and served me in a to go try that was the same size as the lunch special portion wise. I asked can I have a plate they said they do not have plates to dine in with. They charged me for dinner portions but gave me lunch portions and refused to give me a plate.

Food great the problem is there hasn’t been a time in the last six plus visit that something wasn’t wrong with the order. To much noise from the kitchen for the “well we read orders back to make sure” if in all that it’s still wrong.

This was our first time getting food here. It really was hit and miss. I got sushi,no Wasabi but the sushi was very good. Steamed dumplings delicious. Hubby got the steak hibachi the steak was Very tough veggies and rice were good. Also the menu said it came with a salad, no salad. I ordered the combo noodles with steak and shrimp, the shrimp were very good and the steak was very tough and the noodles were over cooked almost mushey. With all that said, we will go back and make some adjustments on what we order.

Delicious food, cooked properly and fair prices. Inside is a very cozy space. I'll come back for sure.

The service was fast, and the shrimp fried rice was good. You get plenty of large shrimp and enough veggies to balance everything. The sushi, I didn't particularly care for. They were small and not exactly what I expected. However, it could be because I was there for lunch, so maybe the size was due to the lunch special.

This is such a great hidden gem over in New Port Richey. The food is excellent! I’m unfortunately a picky eater and my order has been correct every time I’ve gone.

Been coming once a week for the past 8 months and up until recently it’s been so good. Past two times the steak isn’t cooked and the veggies are raw. Won’t be back.
