Love this historic Richey Suncost Theater it has been around since 1925…i saw i Beatles tribute band “ Liverpool Live “ loved it herd some beatles songs I haven’t herd before…i sat in the balcony/peanut gallery loved it…only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because the upper balcony was rather warm with a full house…keep up the good work Richey Suncoast Theater…i love that you are still running…added the 2024 calendar of events

Classic old theatre feel, slowly upgrading to the gem most of us have know is here!Small town theatre, with the small town price point and at least 3 well-known plays a year, as well as some surprises, like the modern early 1900s Women's Rights show "Silent Sky". Also, old classics like "Oliver" fill in between seasonal plays like "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" at Halloween to "A Christmas Carol" or "A Christmas ³"Between the normal season offerings, you'll find the theatre showing comedy shows as well as musical tribute bands, giving yet another location in NPR to continue on its original use plan. For an underfunded local theatre, they do good work here and take pride in what they produce for the local audience to appreciate. Once you go to a show, you'll find yourself with season tickets. Soon enough, you'll be knowing your weekend plans a couple of months in advance! There is a new season starting soon, with the practices throughout the summer and throughout the upcoming winter season. Check out the theatre, either as a patron, Stage Hand and/or actor.

What a great gem right here in my small town. Friendly staff and volunteers, the show we watched was the Bee Gees. Great afternoon with the wife. I highly recommend supporting this local theater

I like the venue, I love anything old with history. Seats are great, no bad seats at all. Wish there were more films shown here. Was at a recent comedy show and The dude sucked, was not funny at all and felt more like a boring lecture, which was NOT the theaters' fault at all. During the show the speakers were turned up so loud the acoustics were distorted and hurt your ears. It was raining the night of the show and the roof was leaking directly on the comedian. I found that the most amusing thing of the evening, because he sucked so bad. Welcome to Pasco buddy.
Very enjoyable evening. Theater is very nostalgic.

Update: I'll definitely return after reading the owner's reply to my concerns. Very nice approach to resolving some of the behaviors in patrons that can be distracting. Thank you! Look forward to returning!Cute, clean venue with lovely vintage feel. My issue is more with the selfish people who bring toddlers and small children to live performances geared toward adults. Or those who roll in looking and smelling like they haven't had a shower in a week. Lastly, the popcorn eaters, crinkling their bags and chewing loudly throughout the performance. In short, this place doesn't draw a crowd with any class and that surprised me. But to be fair, the theater needs to have policies in place that promote class (i.e, no children under 12, no food in theater). I probably won't go back which is sad because it has great potential.
