Rincon Criollo

I was staying at a hotel near this area and decided to check out a local Cuban place. Had Lyft drop me off. It looked like they were closing. The waitstaff was very nice and let me order but was closing up around me. I felt bad for keeping them. I sat on a picnic table outside. The area was very dark. This local place is super close to the airport, which is great if you are hungry after a long flight. The menu is partly in Spanish but we didn't have a problem ordering. Everything we had was tasty. (We aren't very familiar with Cuban cuisine but I know my meal hit the spot!) It's right next to the airport, so expect to hear a plane going overhead about every minute or so. Great value at this local luncheria-style restaurant. While the service was average, don't expect any rush. The sandwich was a 3-4 as far as Cuban sandwiches go. If you love local restaurants, like I do, then you'll like this one. Great value and local vibe.
