San Miguel Mexican Restaurant

I was in the mood for some delicious Mexican food for dinner tonight. My son said “Mom, I know a great place that you’re going to love. It’s just over in New Port Richey. Let’s go!” So we headed out for a little dinner adventure. I loved it. The atmosphere was peaceful with classical Hispanic music. I am from Honduras so I really enjoyed the music! The delicious food was served in a timely manner. The food was authentic and delicious with generous servings. Our server was attentive and friendly,anticipating our needs. I highly recommend San Miguel Mexican Restaurant to anyone who wants delicious authentic Mexican cuisine in a delightful atmosphere!

Unbelievably the worst experience we’ve had in a restaurant in our entire life. They could care less what we thought and actually mocked us outwardly when we pointed out we were not happy with one of our entrees. We were called “ Gringo” by the manager

Ordered beef soup they no longer serve.
Got the chicken soup. Who puts avacado in soup. Swapped plates with someone tacos was garbage. Other person ordered burrito received enchilada

Bread is great but service was bad the two young girls were purposely moving slow while there being a long line , have no manner nor respectful at all

Visited with friend for a late lunch. Restaurant was pretty much empty. We came after the lunch rush. Still..service was superb! And our food was flavorful, abundant, and well worth the visit. Will for sure, come again!

My husband and I are from Jacksonville and are in town visiting family. We stopped by here for a few drinks while we waited for the rest of our party to get off work one day. We are very educated in tequilas and this place did not disappoint. Staff is very friendly and super helpful. We were so very surprised by the selection of tequilas here! This was just the perfect place we ended up at on a whim! 10/10 wish we could have stayed to try the food because it smelled amazing!

Great place. Food was amazing. Service was quick and pleasant. Atmosphere was the final touch, the decor added to the experience. Made you feel like your not just in a building eating. Definitely going back again. Food portion was a lot. Had plenty for another meal.

We stumbled across San Miguel’s Mexican Restaurant and stopped in for lunch. We were sat immediately and had prompt service. The food arrived quickly and it was muy rico! We noticed there were several regular customers there by the way they were greeted, which is a good sign.

The restaurant was clean and well decorated with upscale art, a step up from the average Mexican restaurant. I took a walk around to admire the decor before leaving. I also saw a small stage with musical instruments, so I’m guessing they must offer live entertainment on weekends?

I recommend San Miguel. Yummy. I’ll be back!.

We had a flavorful meal of taquitos. We had excellent beans and a guacamole dip. Very good taquitos and the beans were excellent.

I am sorry to give a negative review and sadly we went to this restaurant on the advice of others and the good reviews that the restaurant received here. Wish we had that experience. Food was bland if not just awful, cheese enchilada was like eating card board and the burrito was very small. Service was practically non existent, although there was a lot of servers. Our waitress never asked if we wanted more drinks or desert. Very disappointing.

First time going there and the food was amazing! Tasty and won't brake your wallet.

We Love this place! Try the chicken, bacon, cheese quesadilla with a the guacamole side salad. Yummy 😋
