Based on the reviews, The Urban Oak is a clean, welcoming, and beautiful restaurant. The service is fast and friendly, with staff running around to help everyone. The cocktails are great and come out super fast. The food is fresh, served quickly, and hot. The wings are the best, with a sweet smoky taste, and the cheddar burger is big and cooked perfect. The Ridge pizza is great, though the underside was burnt once, but the issue was corrected quickly. The savory buffalo chicken sandwich is absolute perfection, and the collard greens are the best, perfectly cooked and seasoned. The French fries are very good, and the whipped ricotta is also recommended. The Sunday brunch menu is a must try. However, the takeout is exceptionally disappointing, as the in-house experience cannot be replicated in a foam clamshell. The beer selection is lacking. The takeout pizza and calzone have great flavor and are well prepared. This place is an absolute hidden gem, and more should be opened across the country.
