They have a Vape system they don’t control and they have no access so to. You pay $20 and nothing comes out, it’s okay. They won’t handle it.

It was our first time we came here. We wanted to try it out. We were next-door at Dang Good on Main And figured we would try it out here. The bouncer at the door was very nice. I totally understood. He wanted to check my purse which I had nothing to hide. Then he wanted to pat down my husband, which my husband told him ahead of time. He had a firearm because he was an off duty police officer and he also showed his Badge. The bouncer said he had to run it by The Head of security. The head of security comes out And says it doesn’t matter he can’t come in with a gun. with all these shootings going on, do you think it’s not a good idea to have an off-duty cop inside? use a little common sense. we don’t plan on coming back to try this establishment out. We never have a problem anywhere else. everyone feels protected to have us come.

Bartender was rude and seemed entitled. I wouldn’t recommend going here if you want to have a good time. Security was rude and unfriendly .

“Security Team Lax, Biased”About a month ago on a busy night, I witnessed a group of about six cocky young men, who did not look like country music fans, walk into The Kangaroo. There were no open tables, so the group decided to try to rudely commandeer a table at which one young man was already sitting. He explained to the group that the people from that table were out on the dance floor. The group surrounded the young man and displayed physically threatening body language, attempting to goad him into fighting them.I looked around for the security team, which was nowhere to be found. Then I saw a middle-aged woman attempt to defuse the situation by holding out her hand to separate the group from the man at the table - essentially doing the job of a security team member. The woman was immediately hit in the hand by one of the six aggressive men. At this point, security finally arrived. Did they kick out the six men who had started the altercation? Of course not. They removed the woman who had been assaulted for preventing a fight! The entire security team was now in the parking lot with the woman while the unruly males continue to harass paying patrons, all of whom had witnessed what had transpired. (The six men were not interested in buying any drinks or dancing. They were only interested in harassing and physically intimidating others.)The Kangaroo does not keep their patrons safe. You will be better served going to another bar in the area and paying the $20 cover charge. At least you will have the peace of mind you will not find yourself in the midst of a melee trying to do the job of a bouncer or being physically threatened by a mob of degenerate hoodlums.

My friend and I went to this establishment and we been paying for drinks and the security wanted us to give up our chair at the bar… I explained we are paying customers and the security told me and my gf that if we didn’t give up our chair we would get kicked out, … I’ll never come back to this rinky dink bar ever again!!! If I’m a paying customer why would you threaten to throw me out because I don’t wanna stand?????

Very nice time. We didn’t eat. Only drinks. The floor was a bit sticky so be careful if you’re going to dance! The bartender was very nice and I’d go back for another round or two.

We always have a blast at Kangaroo. We've tried everything from line dancing to electronic music. The atmosphere indoors is fantastic, and they also have a cozy open patio at the back. Highly recommend!Parking: Look for parking on the back street.
