I found the young lady making the coffee to be very efficient and helpful. She helped me pick a coffee she thought I would enjoy which I did. I found the atmosphere to be relaxing and I would recommend Joel's to anyone looking for a good cup of coffee.
Came here while I'm town for work and it is the cutest place and the drinks are good! I wanna franchise it lol we need more coffee houses like this around the country! This will definitely be my spot when in the area.

This is a great spot to work quietly and enjoy some coffee. The ambiance is serene, clean, and pretty spacious for a small coffee shop in a small town. The staff are incredibly nice and welcoming. The only thing lacking is food options. I wish they had more baked goods. Maybe pair up with a local bakery to sell more muffins, cakes, bagels, etc. I highly recommend Joel's if you're in the area. I hope to see more businesses like this pop up in Newberry.
