The foods were amazing. We had smoked chicken, brisket, pulled pork, and sausages (cheddar and original). For sides, we had coleslaw, fries, baked beans, and cheese grits. Fries were actually really good. Staffs refilled my drink (Zero Coke) many times for free and were very supportive and friendly. If you really like spicy, try the "Mak" sauce, it is really good. I highly recommend this place and definitely will come back.

Been going since they opened. Last 3 times I've gotten food, orders have been wrong. First 2 times I called let them know. This time I ordered in house, had to wait 45 min on a brisket sandwich, order was still wrong, took it back and all they did was pull meat off and put correct bread on, then left it on the counter for 5 more min. Took over a hr to get my food and nowit's cold. Last order was a family meal that was all wrong. Really need better service and better managing.

Today was my very first time getting lunch from here and I am disappointed. Order a lunch special and my fries were old and cold. They forgot to give me my garlic bread ?. Wish I would have had a good experience I love

wish I was writing to tell you how fantastic your food is and how wonderful your staff is but sadly I'm not. I wouldn't know . See my friend has end stage heart failure. End stage life expectancy is 6 months. It's tragic and sad. He doesn't often get out to do things he enjoys so when he said he wanted to make the ridiculously long trip to your Newberry location just to taste your food , I couldn't object. Taking an entire day just to go to eat isn't something I usually do. I find it impractical but my friend he really wanted this... You can imagine after being in a car all day apon arrival our appetite was pretty hearty. After sitting in your restaurant for ten minutes without so much as a hello or even a glance in our general direction. It was very obvious that we had made a very bad decision. I've worked in restaurants, I paid my college off by waiting tables so I have a basic understanding of how things work. I'm very confident in saying the restaurant was not at all busy. We left because your staff blatantly ignored us thus we were unable to eat and felt very unwelcomed. My friend was very excited to go to your restaurant and has felt very slighted by the lack of service . I imagine he feels foolish for having made a day out of just going to your place only to be treated like a nobody. I know it bothers him. He's mentioned it to me several times now . The more I seen how disappointed he is by the whole Top Hog experience the more disgusted I become thinking of the disrespect of your staff. I really can not stress how this man put your restaurant at the top of his priorities and went the many extra miles just to show his support of your restaurant and in return your staff shunned him and made him feel and look foolish for having thought you were deserving of what little time he has left. Shame on you Top Hog .

I do not give a lot of all 5 stars on my reviews, but if you haven't tried this place, you should and soon. We got the 4 meat dinner with ribs instead of chicken, shredded pork, brisket, and sausage. Everything was tender and quite tasty. The chili has brisket and a touch of a sweet taste. This is now our go-to for bar-b-que. The service was great and the restaurant was clean and inviting. The only thing I would change is the volume of the music, but we did go at an off peak time.

Not enough places around that still capture that southern style but here you can still get that great flavors, variety and great price. Not telling anything else come see!

I have taken my family here multiple times, and we always find it pleasant. There is something for everyone, even my wife, who is a vegetarian, the kids like the brisket and sides. The most recent visit was on New Years Eve, and the place was really busy for lunch. Waited in line, gave our order, and waited for the food to arrive. All the food was sent to the table within a 30-minute time frame, which again was quick for how busy it was.Now I gave the food only 3 stars because the Stuffed Jalepeno wrapped in bacon side was burnt, like to a black crisp, I know this isn't common because this is my favorite side and I order it most every visit now. It was busy, I understand that. I just wish someone would have said this isn't right do not serve it.Staff is great, and usually, the food is the best, and they have a pretty good selection of brews, too.Vegetarian options: They serve a shroom burger my always gets.

We picked up Top Hog's "Holiday Special" (Smoked Turkey, Mashed Potatoes, Mac-and-Cheese, Green Beans, Corn Bread, Brownies) for a Christmas Eve gathering and the meal was fantastic and beyond our expectations. We were hesitant to pick up/re-heat a meal, but their packaging and re-heat instructions made for an amazing (and easy) dinner. Food aside, they are always so friendly and have great customer service. We will definitely do this again!

I ordered a Brisket sandwich with coleslaw as a side. The Brisket was moist and delicious as well as the the coleslaw which is mych better than your standard. I would recommend to eat here if you want good bbq.

I am not a huge fan of barbecue but my husband and I were beyond impressed. Our server Carly super really nice and attentive. I had two specialty drinks made by the bartender Destiny. A swampade and hogito. Absolutely Amazing!!! Girl has skills. The whole team deserves 5+ stars!!

Food is good. Service is solid. Environment is clean and open. Not a bad place for some simple bbq food.

Dear Top Hog: Y’all. We’ve been customers since your grand opening in Jonesville. We love the food and we will keep buying it, and we want you to succeed. But you have GOT to do something about your order fulfillment process for pickup/takeout orders. It’s become a running joke in our family, whenever we pick up food, we say out loud “I wonder if we’ll get all of our orders today?” In the early days there was probably a 75% rate of missing or incorrect items. It’s down to about a 30% right now, but still way above industry normal. It sucks to have to drive back to the restaurant to pick up someone’s order while my family is eating without me, and it’s happened easily a dozen times. Please, please fix.

Good food. Decent prices. Good service. Portions kinda small for the price for takeout but everything was great and hot. Will go again to dine in.
