The last three times we've went the wait staff has been non attentive, had to ask repeatedly for refills, the tea was watered down and had to loudly ask for someone because the waitress was too busy talking to each other and taking pictures together to attend the customers. It use to be great here now its just been disappointing.

After waiting for 45 minutes, we were then told that they had 25 people outside. Rudely, that they would start working on our food next. There was 9 tables of people waiting. Had we been told about the wait, we could have decided, but to get snapped at when I asked was poor customer service. Then as we left (paying $5 for a water & soda), the manager chased us outside to “see what the problem was” and his response was “oh sorry”

Been here several times and the food is pretty good. The atmosphere is great too. But 9.50 for a craft beer and 7.50 for Yuengling are crazy high prices! Can't really justify going back.

Good food, fast service. Pork chops are huge, I almost always get 2 when they're available but next time I think I'll stick to one.

There was 11 of us on motorcycles and we stopped for something to eat along with a adult beverage, the waitress was new, only a couple of days, we sat outside and she took our drink and food orders. The food arrived in a timely manner but apparently the manger didn't do proper training and she was very confused with the billing. I am not sure if she was let go but she did nothing wrong. My bill was correct and I informed the manager of that and she took my bill, looked at it and threw it on the table, she was very unprofessional and I think she blamed the waitress. Everything worked out but the owners need to train their staff better, especially the managers, I just hope that she didn't take it out on the young lady

Such a cool place and pretty good food, but the lack of management and qualified staff really erode the overall experience here. I just watched 5 tables waiting to be bussed for at least 20 minutes outside with flies buzzing around. Mine was halfway cleaned off so we could sit down and my arms are sticking to the table.
20+ minutes waiting for the bill so I can pay.
I know that it's hard to find good help these days, but it's not impossible. I'd literally fire every single person here and start from scratch.
Owner, stop wasting money on the stupid branded cups and hire a good manager. Pay them well and tighten this place up.

This place was a hit and miss and after a couple call in orders that were missing food, we quit going for a while. Decided to try them again the other night. It was early, they only had 3 tables occupied (including us). Food was pretty good. Placed an order to take with us. That order cost $20 and we didn't get all the sides that were supposed to come with it. I should have checked because it's happened before but I figured since we dined in and they weren't busy, my to go food would be ok. They fooled me again. I'm sure we'll go back again one day in the future but I'll always check my box IF I ever get another to go order.

Rustic local eatery. Th chicken was cooked and seasoned well. The Mac and cheese was ok. Garlic bread was a bit burnt. The staff was friendly and inviting. I would come back

Pretty good BBQ - Similar to Sonny's, not better or worse.

Great value on their sandwiches can't beat the price and the stack of meat that comes on it. I usually get the sliced beef.

Fries are interesting, not sure if they're supposed to be like "Wood chips" with the shape? Either way, they aren't bad at all. They use the good ranch, which is a huge plus.

Baked beans and coleslaw are actually better than Sonny's.
My only piece of constructive criticism is it would be awesome if they had a rub, or some kind of flavor to the sliced beef, similar to the bark on a brisket? I realize maybe that is a style thing, but would be on my wish list. I eat here about twice a month.

I recommend this place and think they are pretty good and very fairly priced for what you get.

Wait staff is friendly.

Food is always pretty decent but be prepared to pay. Keeps us away a lot of time because of price but when we do go the food tends to be very good.

Got breakfast and the French toast was just 2 pieces of regular white sandwich bread ( kinda lame) not much for the price. I also ordered sausage with it and they brought me bacon. This cost me $14+ tip.
I'm still hungry 30 minutes later

Enjoy visiting for some barbecue on occasion. I love the outdoor art and heaters as you approach the door, and like that, you have the option to eat outside. The food this past visit on Saturday was okay in part. It seems like the sweet tea brand may have been changed. It tasted a bit off. My food, sliced BBQ pork was yummy, and I enjoyed my fries - they have great thick cut semi curl fries. However, my sisters food wasn't really edible. She ordered the white meat chicken, the blackened broccoli, and a baked potato. The baked potato appeared to be a day-old potato. It was scary and had a terrible taste. One bite was all it took. We reported to the waitress and she offered to replace it. The next choice was fried okra. It looked good, but it was like rubber in texture and became chewy as it cooled. So she didn't eat that either. Think maybe it was microwaved. They forgot the corn bread (we didn't mention). The chicken was super dried out like it was over the hold time, so she did pick at that some with sauce because she needed to eat something. Her main eat was the blackened broccoli. She reported it was good but had been changed. Apparently, it used to actually be blackened on the grill, but this time, it appeared to have a blackening season with no heat added. So, really, just raw seasoning for the taste. The friendly waitress came by to check and asked how everything was. We explained the situation, which was evident by remaining food on the plate. She apologized and returned with the check. I was shocked, based on the return of the potato, followed by the uneaten replacement okra, and picked chicken that no discount was offered.

I'm sad because while I enjoyed my meal, my sister didn't and left hungry. So tonight, while out with my boyfriend, we chose somewhere different after the experience. Woodyard is usually one of our go-to places while eating when in town. I think we will give Woodyard a rest for a while. Maybe try it again in a couple of months to see if things can get worked out in the kitchen. I really enjoy their BBQ, but all the food in an order needs to be of acceptable quality and cook.

I also skipped the to-go order I had originally decided on due to the chicken meal. I didn't want you to take a chance on ordering food for another, and it possibly be unacceptable
