This quaint lil home town Cafe is a must stop in. The atmosphere is relaxing and the aromas are very welcoming. Greeted with a smile and quick service. I'll think I've found a new favorite for breakfast and I'll be back to explore the lunch side of the menu.

We went in this morning for breakfast and were reminded of why we love this place! I am gluten free and sugar free. I had plenty of options here, including a delicious iced latte. There are SO many flavors to choose from food and service are on point as well. Thank you guys for an awesome breakfast! See you again soon! ;)

Cafe Bienville is a Niceville treasure because it offers fantastic Cajun and Creole fare on the Florida Panhandle. The robust menu is full of options that you would expect to find in Louisiana. Having driven by what seems to be a very busy Cafe Bienville hundreds of time at its newer location on John Sims Parkway, I often wondered where all the customers park, especially because a few spaces in front are reserved for patrons of their cleverly named neighbor, Hair Force barbershop. I decided to approach the small plaza adjacent to the very visible O'Reilly's Auto Parts from the west to avoid having to cross two busy lanes of traffic. This turned out to be a good decision as I snagged one of a couple of open spots in front. Don't let the parking deter you from enjoying this amazing restaurant. Several spaces line the side of the building where most customers, especially the regulars, park. I was warmly greeted by the cashier who explained the ordering and serving process to me and then opened the back room where long tables are arranged to accommodate overflow customers. I was the first one to enter the room on this day, but I was quickly joined by a mother and son who sat at the other table. They had clearly been to the original location over on Bayshore Drive in the past as they commented that the cafe used to be located on the water. As a New Englander, I appreciated that one of the specialty lattes is a Boston Cream (chocolate, caramel, cream). Of course, I needed to splurge on a taste of home that I haven't seen back home! The iced coffee was topped off with whipped cream as the legendary "pie" would be. A quick history lesson...Boston cream pie, the official dessert of Massachusetts that was first created at the Omni Parker House, is actually a two-layered golden cake (not a pie) filled with vanilla custard and topped with chocolate frosting. I am not complaining about a slight deviation on the latte served at Cafe Bienville. The beverage was magnificent. In addition to the Boston Cream Latte, I ordered Steak and Eggs along with their signature beignets, which rival those prepared at the iconic Cafe du Monde in New Orleans. Everything was served promptly and was delicious. I am no expert on Cajun and Creole foods, but I have to believe that the popularity of this eatery suggests that this restaurant is no poser. Because the Steak and Eggs had a bit of a kick, I did not take advantage of the many sauces available on the condiment table. Don't pass on the opportunity to bring home a treat for later. I opted for the 3-pack of chocolate chip cookies located on a rack opposite the ordering station. I will be making Cafe Bienville a MUST VISIT when guests come to town.
Awesome food and owners. We eat here often and are never disappointed . The ingredients are fresh and perfectly prepared and the employees are friendly and attentive.

BAM! Get your muffuletta here & nowhere else!
The house-made olive relish & super fresh ingredients added up to the best muffuletta I’ve encountered.
Cafe Bienville delivers an upscale menu in a casual setting. The New Orleans-themed foods and art everywhere will draw you back.
This cafe has its act together. As the price of dining out has increased, this is the kind of place that is worth your hard-earned dollar.
Vegetarian options: I had the Portabella sandwich. It was delicious and filling.
Dietary restrictions: Delicious vegetarian, gluten-free options

All around a great place. The atmosphere was cool and relaxing, I like the way the tables are set up, I also like the counter to order I prefer it to someone coming to my table. The coffee options were a little overwhelming hahah but awesome, service was on point and fast. Honestly everything about this place could've been horrible and the food would've made up for it, the food was very very amazingly great. I'm a huge fan of beignets and this place in no way disappointed at all, I ended up getting 3 orders to go in top of the 3 orders we ate there. Anyway, I would definitely recommend thus spot to everyone, if you've never been go. Thanks for the awesome food, and will see you all again soon. Thanks
