If u want a sub that actually feels like a warm, hearty meal, Firehouse Subs in Niceville is the spot. I’ve been coming here for a while and they never miss. The 'Hook & Ladder' is my go-to—the way they steam the meats and cheese makes it way better than a standard cold sub.
As someone who lives in a military town, I really appreciate that they support our troops and first responders. They usually offer a military discount (I’ve gotten a free drink or chips before just by showing ID), and their Public Safety Foundation is awesome. The service is fast, the shop is always clean, and the staff is genuinely friendly. It’s a bit more expensive than Subway, but the quality of the meat and the toasted bread is 100% worth the extra few bucks. Definitely one of the best lunch spots
This place kinda sucks because its service is slow. 7 people in the lobby and it’s takes 29 minutes to make your sub. Employees are slow, service is slow, even ordered ahead and came 30 minutes later and still waited 20 minutes for a sub. Won’t be back

Well looks like I'll never be ordering from here again! I'm a doordash delivery driver and I eat dinner where I'm awarded something in return like points. Yes you have points here and I've got enough to get a free sub but when I check out it says invalid because I have to spend one penny!! No thanks. Take your points shove them where the sun don't shine! I'll go somewhere else that's actually free when I have enough points

Order online and can only get wheat bread. I prefer white bread.
Service continues to go down. They take 30 minutes to make food even when not busy. Also they were extremely rude to my wife. They put our order and the one before on the door dash rack and didn’t call out that it was. When she told them it wasn’t a door day they got attitude with here.

While I have never had a problem here before, everyone is super friendly & food is great. Only thing that disappoints is getting a french “ dip “ and getting home with no sauce to dip the sammy in. Other than that its a good spot.
Every single time I order from here my order is wrong. Just today I ordered the mac and cheese with bacon and I didn’t get any bacon. I paid extra for the bacon and it still wasn’t there. Also, my sandwich almost always has something wrong with it. I always get a turkey and provolone sub with only those two things on it, but more than once has it had all the veggies all over it. I’m not usually one to leave a bad review, but it’s a reoccurring issue and it’s really frustrating. This never happens at the fort walton location.

Came in on a Weds evening. It was not busy. The drink machine is nice with newest selections. The subs were tasty and fresh, and the employees were friendly.

I went to go the bathroom and the bathroom looked like a homeless guy lived there. It stunk so bad I passed out after the door closed
I went there a few days ago and had to wait about 20mins to get my food and when I finally did get my food the bread wasn’t toasted even though I asked for it to be toasted and on top of that the workers were rude, even the manager!
