Hungry Howie's Pizza & Subs

Standard pizza experience although delivery times are admittedly longer than alternatives typically 45-55mins though I have experience times longer than this.

Pizza here tends to be better than most alternatives however with a more seasoned/ richer taste.

Prices tend to be slightly higher than alternatives here as well.

We go here almost every Monday evening and always receive a very warm welcome and delicious food. Tonight was unique as we arrived and ended up having car issues. We struggled for several minutes with no success and happened to go in and ask the employee if they had any tools we could possibly use. They actually had what we needed and we were able to get our car issues resolved. Unfortunately by the time we were able to get the truck running again the staff was closing up. We were not able to get our normal delicious food but they did offer us drinks and kept apologizing about us not getting our food. They went above and beyond to help us and were genuinely concerned for our problems. We will continue visiting this establishment just because the staff is so helpful and friendly!

The food was delicious and Jeremiah was SO FRIENDLY and helpful! He was so kind to every customer and I haven’t seen someone that amazing at this location EVER! Please give him a raise or sing his praises because he’s phenomenal! I wish there were more Jeremiah’s in this world!!!

I ordered on uber eats several items on 6/28/25. 2 deluxe combo subs, 5 wings and the Howie bread which the Howie bread was free for $20 or more order. I was highly disappointed in the chicken wings, no flavor or barely any color although you advertised as 2x cooked. I only bite into one and wish I never had, stomach was upset and had to go to the Winn-Dixie up the street for Immodium and Pepto-bismuth. Stop serving chicken if you’re not gonna cook fully or prepare correctly.

Hungry Howies may be a cooperation, but they've always done it pretty well ever since I was in highscool in north central Florida back in the 90's. The pizza recipe changed, but it's still good & the oven baked subs & wings I just got from the this location was on point. This Niceville location does really good every time for me.

Ordered at 545pm, sat inside for an hr and my pizza was ready for 10 mins, no one called my name. Had to go up and ask for it myself

Great place for a gluten free pizza. Most places the gf crust is the same frozen "cracker" crust with no flavor. Not here! It was thicker more like pan and the perfect balance between chewy and crunchy on the ends. Well done! Thanks!

Been meaning to drop a review of these guys for a while. Had a small issue with an order and the owner made it right. Very good customer service! Pizza is always really good and they've always been fast! "Famished Howards" beats the snot out of all the fast food pizza chains and even embarrasses some of the fancier pizza spots in the area. Come to think of it, in the Niceville area I can't name a better pizza than HH's.

Horrible lettuce for our subs. Sandwiches good.

I placed a phone take out order. Staff was friendly both when I placed the order and again when I picked up my order. Our pizza from Hungry Howie’s has always been very good from the crust to the toppings!

This place was an awesome find for us. We stopped him to grab dinner because the kids wanted pizza and this place did not did not disappoint. We ordered a large meat lovers, a half pepperoni and half mushroom, a large Italian sub and cheese bread. The season crust is new to me and was amazing. We got the Cajun crust which added just enough kick to the pizza to add to its taste but not overpower it. Sub was surprisingly good, but not your traditional sub it was not served on a sub bun but a folded in half pizza crust which was great also. The cheesy bread was excellent with the marinara and my daughter was impressed by the garlic butter. Since we're from not around here we'd never had this chain before but I wish they had it where we lived because we would visit often. I wish I would have got some pictures of the food but we were starving and didn't know what to expect. If you're looking for good pizza at a very affordable price this place is a great option.

If you guys say super combo 19.99 ONE TOPPING I expect any topping I want. IF YOU CAN ONLY GET PEPPERONI THEN SPECIFY THAT. It’s not one topping pizza it’s a two pepperoni pizzas. Make that clear 1 star for being scam artist
