The atmosphere was fantastic, with delicious food that truly tantalized the taste buds. The vibrant energy of the people around complemented the experience perfectly, making it feel warm and inviting. It was an incredibly relaxing setting, allowing me to unwind and enjoy every moment.
The food, coffee and vibes were amazing! First time and I will definitely be back. The robins egg coffee was beautiful and those bag bombs are to die for!
Come here from time to time. Always consistent. Great coffee, wonderful service and tasty pastries.
Super cute local spot! The breakfast roll I ate was delicious and the coffee was too. 😊 They have a neat little art gallery as well.
Excellent coffee and pastry’s with awesome staff. They are open early and great pricing. This is another Niceville MUST!
Well, I read the high rating, then went: Didn’t see the freshly baked different breads shown on photos:
My MJ Special mocha wasn’t hot, double-chocolate scone was very dry, not enough chocolate flavor. Service was great: she heated up my scone. Then again at the cashier they asked at lowest 20% - 25+% tip add to your order…
Terrible experience!! The food was cold and dried up. The staff wasn't friendly and I was not given a receipt. Wish I could give 0 stars.
This place is awesome and consistent! Friendly staff and the best cup of cold brew around. Wife always gets an iced Sweet Melissa latte and loves it. They have excellent pastries and breakfast items as well. Place is really neat inside and nice to chill chat and enjoy. Love the convenience of the drive through.
One of the best Chai Teas I've had since going to an aumish restraunt in Iowa City, Iowa.
Friendly staff, quick service. They all did a great job!!
I’ll start with the bad: The quiche. Have you ever made scrambled eggs & they didn’t come out right because they ended up too dense & spongey with excess liquid coming out of the curds when pressed and it’s soggy? I’m sure you know what I’m talking about. Well, this is an exact description of the interior of the quiche I had here! The crust looked really good and was fine but the whole interior of the quiche was this way! Not enjoyable by far! :-( (I would’ve returned it but my husband happened to be ravenously hungry so though he didnt like it wanted to eat it). I do hope they get it right because I love quiche & would really love to be able to order it here sometimes!! :-). (Tip if business reads this: a quiche should have eggs with more of a “custard-like” or velvety
texture inside). The Good: there was a savory spiral pastry with cream cheese, green onions, and I think sausage, inside. This was SOO good! 👍 - Borderline incredible really! :-) Also had a sharp cheddar/walnut/cranberry scone that was *really* good (though not AS good as the cream cheese/green onion spiral one), and a Chai latte (the spicy not the vanilla one) which was done VERY well. (A lot of times at other places they’re not done so great but this one was). Environment was beautifully decorated and an open and inviting place throughout. Thoughtfully done seating - just wish there were more tables or even just chairs around the windows. But overall very pleasant for sure. Very friendly and helpful workers that genuinely seemed to love their jobs. We were very quickly served. Also, I loved that they heated up the pastries and quiche for us without being asked and brought it to us pleasantly warm. Will for sure be back again. (Again, please work on the quiche! :-) ). Thanks for a mostly great experience & God bless!

My absolute favorite coffee shop! The staff are all so kind, the atmosphere is amazing with beautiful decorations, and the food/drinks are great! Their bakers and baristas do a wonderful job! I recommend everyone to come here, especially on Fridays with the home made breakfast sandwiches!

I want to love this place so bad! I’ve been going since they were Cafe Liquid when I was in high school. The staff now just seems bothered by your existence when you come in. The coffee is sometimes great, sometimes tastes watered down and I could make better at home. Those days suck because their prices are much higher than many other places locally.

MJ’s Place is one of my favorite local spots in Niceville. They serve Lucky Goat coffee, which is my absolute favorite. Especially the Highlander Grogg! The bagel bombs are The Bomb! So good! The staff is friendly, and I always run into someone I know when I stop in. If I don’t have time to stay a while it’s great that they have the drive through. I highly recommend MJ’s Place!
Parking: The parking used to be more difficult, but now that the lot in the back of the restaurant is available there is plenty of space to park.
